Hi, I'm Fable! My legal name is on my profile, but I am a trans man that uses he/him pronouns. I started pet sitting on Rover back in 2021 and ended in 2024 to focus on a new job, which happened to be in animal welfare! Over the better part of two years I learned a ton about animal behavior, handling, general day to day care, and became very informed on animals who have experienced trauma. My understanding of animals has grown and now that I have availability again, I would love to put those skills to use with your animals! I understand that not every pet is built the same and has the same blanket needs. Some want to be best friends immediately and some prefer to keep to themselves. I will always meet an animal at their comfort level. I am communicative, responsive, respectful and kind. I will always follow any instructions given and like to be thorough in asking questions. I appreciate full transparency in what you're looking for in a sitter and what the expectations are. If you're looking for someone to take care of your babies while you're away, I'm here!

I will always respect any boundaries and house rules and will never put your animal in a dangerous situation. I expect to be informed on how your animal interacts with other animals, people, new situations, etc, so I can keep them safe if we're out and about.

Fable was great with our pets! He followed the instructions I left well and the house was well taken care of. Our pets were happy and healthy once we returned and he sent us photos with updates while we were away. We will definitely be booking with him again. 10/10

Schedule
I'm flexible at the moment, so just tell me what you need and I'll tell you if I'm available! Even if the answer is no, I will respond. At the moment my primary availability is drop-in visits and dog walking, but I will consider housesitting if it's either short term or nearby where I live.

- Please let me know of any behaviors that your animal has that might be disruptive when I have them out so I can plan accordingly. Do they pull? Bark? Jump? Get into things they shouldn't? No dog is perfect and I'm not here to judge, just to be informed.
