Availability
During the summer, we’re home! Your pet will have lots of yard time and walks if you prefer. We have two older kids (11 and 14) who will NEVER be responsible for your pet, but will supplement their care, socialization, and playtime. We also have a corgi who loves to play, but we can keep her separate from your pup if desired.

There are four people here who love animals! We will care for your pet like they were our own. Pets are allowed on the furniture and beds in our home, but we will follow your rules if that’s a no-no for you. We want to make sure your pup feels at home and comfortable, and that you feel comfortable with your pet in our care!

I will need to know if you dog is cat safe. I will likely air on the side of caution and keep the cats locked upstairs while your dog is here, unless we know the are already comfortable with cats.
A typical day
My family and I will stimulate your pup mentally and socially. We love to play sniff games and help with training if treats are allowed. We’ll walk around the neighborhood and smell all the new smells. We’ll play fetch and our dog May will want to play tag if they get along!

Pet care experience
All four of us are animal people. We’ve had our own dog for six years, and cats our whole lives. I also have experience working in a veterinarian’s office, and my husband and I both have lots of dog-sitting-for-friends experience. Currently, we are two teachers looking to supplement our income and help out others. We are caring, responsible people who won’t leave you hanging. We’ve boarded our own dog through Rover in the past and know you might want frequent check-ins or photos. We’re here for you!

Amy is such a great caretaker for my pups! She has housesit and taken care of my two dogs for me and has been super communicative and thoughtful. Amy sends plenty of pictures and keeps me updated. I love how she loves all animals and treats them as she does her own sweet pets. We will absolutely hire Amy again for our next time away!
