Hey there! My name is Amy and I grew up raising dogs and cats alike on a farm. I have cared for a variety of different sizes and breeds. I raised a black lab growing up and then a husky-malamute mix in my early adulthood. Besides being a part-time dog enthusiast I work remotely as a personal trainer and will always take your pet for a jog or long walk if they're up for it! My husband Eric and I live in San Diego and we love helping others care for their dogs together! We adopted our dog Willie back in February 2023 and we couldn't be more blessed to have such a sweet boy join our family. We love caring for all the dogs we meet through Rover and Willie is always excited to meet a new friend. ☺️ I currently work from home as an online personal trainer and business owner so my schedule is very flexible. I am available to give your pup walks, frequent potty breaks, and play time throughout the day, while my husband enjoys joining me on walks when he gets off work in the evenings. We love taking dogs on hikes, walks around town and weekend park/beach visits. The only pet we have at home is our dog Willie, but he is a total lover and will make your pup feel right at home. He is incredibly friendly and would love to play with friends all day if he could. Before we moved to San Diego, my husband and I frequently visited our parents to help dog sit when they were away. When caring for other dogs in our home, we always treat them like our own and provide them with the best experience! When house-sitting for clients, we do our best to make sure your pet is completely comfortable and happy in their home.

I live in a two-story townhome located in Pacific Beach with a small, fenced in back patio. We live on a quiet street where there are plenty of grass patches and a couple parks within a ~1 mile radius from us. Willie has an abundance of fun, enrichment toys that he loves to share when we're playing inside. And since we only live 1 mile from the beach, there are plenty of beautiful places to go for walks!

Amy is an amazing dog sitter! She is attentive and super communicative. She will care for your pup as if it were your own. Highly recommend and will 100% use her again!
