Worlds biggest dog lover ❤️
I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. Growing up, dogs were always part of our family—coming home from school or university always meant being greeted by wagging tails and happy paws. Over the years, I’ve become the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone to walk, care for, or simply spend time with their dogs. Now, my fiancé and I have two wonderful dogs of our own. They’re a huge part of our lives and bring endless joy to our home. We’re lucky to live in an area with beautiful walking routes nearby, and we take full advantage with regular morning and afternoon walks—plus the occasional lunchtime stroll when work allows. I mainly work from home, although I do go into the office occasionally. I’ve shared my availability for days when I’m home, so you’ll know exactly when I can offer help. On those days, our dogs usually hang out in my home office, snoozing nearby or coming over for a cuddle or toilet break. Our home is very dog-friendly, with a very large, fully gated garden where dogs can safely run, play, and stretch their legs. It’s completely secure with no rear access, so you can rest assured your pup will be safe while enjoying some outdoor fun. Inside, we have a spacious home. Our dogs are allowed upstairs, but I’m happy to follow whatever rules or routines your dog is used to. We also have plenty of space for crates if needed. If you’re looking for someone caring, reliable, and experienced to walk or look after your dog—whether for a day, a few hours, or more—I’d love to help. And our two dogs would be thrilled to have a new friend to join in on their daily adventures!

My 2 year old Bichon Frise GiGi stayed with Amy overnight and I was thrilled with the level of care she provided. Amy kept me updated with lots of photographs through GiGis stay with her which reassured me she was in extremely good hands. Sleeping on the sofa with her when she wouldnt settle overnight was really going the extra mile. I couldn’t recommend Amy enough ❤️🤩 thank you Amy 🥰

Amy is brilliant. Our young labrador stayed with her over the weekend and clearly had a fabulous time. Amy's two dogs were a big bonus too, giving our youngster lots of playtime and social interaction in a safe environment. Amy also took time to spend one-on-one time with our youngster and walk her into town. Perfect all round. Amy sent me regular reassuring updates each day which meant we also had a great care-free weekend. A win-win all round. Thank you again Amy!!

It was the first time I've left my dog with anyone other than my usual dog walker and I was a little anxious. I didn't need to be though because Amy has well tried and tested routines to enable your dog to settle in. She sends regular photo updates and videos and I could see that my dog was very relaxed with her and her own 2 lovely dogs. Amy is a very warm person, who obviously loves dogs and I would thoroughly recommend entrusting your dog to her care.

Amy was brilliant with my 5 year old pug Buddy, she took the time to meet us and find out all about buddy, provided regular updates through the day (including pictures!) and administered medication for him as well. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Amy. Nancy was so well looked after. Lots of photos and updates. Obviously very caring within a dog loving household. Thank you
We had a great experience with Amy. She is very flexible and accommodating and is obviously a genuine lover of animals. We left Neala on one of the hottest days of the year and received many photos and videos of Neala lounging in the shade and she looked happy and chilled. I would not hesitate to recommend Amy and would definitely leave my dog in her again.

Schedule
I work from home most days, which means I’m able to give the dogs lots of love, attention, and structure throughout the day. Here’s what a typical day looks like for us: • Early Morning: We start our day bright and early with a walk around the town. Both of my dogs love their morning walk—it’s a great way for them to stretch their legs, sniff around, and start the day with some fresh air. • Breakfast & Playtime: After walkies, we head home for breakfast. The dogs often have a play in our large, secure gated garden—usually with a ball one of them found on the walk! • Mid-Morning: I begin work in my home office, where the dogs usually nap or keep me company. They pop in for the occasional cuddle or garden break. Around mid-morning, we often head out into the garden again for some light play and a few treats (gravy bones are the favourite!). • Medication Time (if needed): One of my dogs is on regular medication for a hereditary nail condition, so I’m used to administering tablets (usually hidden in cheese!). • Lunchtime: Depending on my work schedule, we’ll sometimes take a quick walk around midday, or just spend some calm time in the garden. • Afternoon: The dogs settle back down while I continue working. They’re used to a quiet, relaxed environment but are always happy to play or go outside if needed. • Evening (around 5pm): Time for our main walk of the day! We head to the park or local green spaces. One of my dogs always brings a ball, and we make sure to take plenty of poo bags—since she prefers not to go in the garden! She loves space to run, puddles to splash in, and tries to chase squirrels (which we gently discourage). Socialising with other dogs is a highlight, so we often try to include that in our routes. • Evening Wind-Down: After the walk, the dogs settle down for the night, usually relaxed and happy after a full day of fun, walks, and attention.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
The safety, comfort, and health of every dog in our care is our absolute priority. Our home is very dog-friendly and designed to be a safe, secure space for dogs to relax, play, and feel at ease. We have a large, fully gated garden with no back access, so dogs can run around freely and safely without any risk of escape. Whether it’s for toilet breaks, playtime, or just some fresh air, the garden is a secure space for all activity levels. Inside, our home is spacious and calm, with two floors and two staircases. Our dogs are allowed upstairs, but we’re happy to follow any house rules your dog is used to—whether they prefer staying on the ground floor, need a stair gate, or sleep in a crate (we have plenty of space for that too). Clean, fresh water is always available, and we stick closely to your feeding instructions or medication routines. One of our own dogs takes daily medication, so we’re confident and careful when it comes to administering tablets or keeping track of special health needs. We use positive reinforcement only—plenty of praise, treats, and affection—and never force dogs into uncomfortable situations. We also keep the environment clean and monitored throughout the day. Dogs are never left unsupervised outside, and any interactions between dogs are watched closely to ensure everyone is getting along and having fun safely. If your dog has specific needs—whether it’s medication, a quiet spot to rest, a slow feeding routine, or just extra reassurance—we’ll make sure they’re looked after as if they were our own.

A typical day
Our days start early with walkies—both of our dogs love getting out first thing in the morning. After a good stretch and sniff around the town, it’s back home for a play in the garden (usually with a ball one of them has proudly carried back from the walk!). Then it’s breakfast time, and I settle into work while the dogs relax. I mostly work from home, and during the day the dogs usually snooze nearby—often in my office—popping in now and again for a cuddle, a treat, or a toilet break. We’re lucky to have a big, secure, fully gated garden, so they can run around freely, play with toys, or just enjoy the fresh air. Mid-morning often includes a little play session in the garden with squeaky toys and a few gravy bones—my dogs’ favourite treat! One of them is on regular medication for a hereditary nail condition, so we’ve got a cheese trick that works like magic. She loves cheese so much she never notices the tablet hidden inside. Depending on my schedule, we might fit in a quick walk around lunchtime, and then we’re back to work until the big event of the day: our evening walk. Around 5pm we head out for a longer adventure—ball in tow, of course! One of my dogs refuses to poop in the garden, so we come prepared with plenty of poo bags too! Both of our dogs love space to run and play, puddle-jumping, sniffing around trees, chasing squirrels (which we try to discourage, but they’re quick!), and socialising with other dogs. We always aim for variety, stimulation, and fun on our walks. If your dog would enjoy being part of our daily routine—full of walks, playtime, cuddles, and the company of two friendly dogs—I’d love to help. Whether you need someone for dog walks, day care, or just the occasional visit, our home and big garden are ready to welcome a new four-legged friend!

- If your dog has any additional needs, it is absolutely fine, just let me know exactly what you need me to be aware of and what we need to do so we can cater for them. It would also be good to know whether your dog is ok off the lead, what his or her recall is like and whether we need specific treats or tactics to make sure commands are followed. I would prefer to keep the dog on the lead if you are unsure about their recall. It would also be good to know if there are specific walks your dog likes to go on, whether they can go swimming in the river etc. Or if of course there are areas you like to avoid so I can make sure I do the same. Of course anything in particular you feel I need to know that isn’t mentioned above :)
