Pet care experience
Since I started working thru the Rover app. I have been appalled by the stories that my clients tell me about their previous experiences. I too have had some bad experiences with friends watching my fur babies so I completely understand the level of care and responsibility you are looking for. My sister-in-law owns her own pet sitting business, and I have helped her on several occasions. Over the years, I have pet sit for friends and family. This has included dogs and cats. I've also done overnights.

I currently have two very spoiled cats. I have worked for Hair of the Dog. The owner requires a 30 minute visit at each pet's home. I've also stayed with dogs in their homes overnight.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. Let me know what they enjoy doing - playing, cuddling etc. Let me know the normal schedule so that I can keep it as close as possible.
A typical day
I would play fetch or whatever game the dog enjoys. I would walk them in their neighborhood or a nearby park. I would do whatever the parent wants done.

Availability
I have a full time job 5 days a week. My days off are flexible with enough notice. I am available every day of the week for drop ins in the mornings and evenings. I am single with no children so I'm always available for overnights. I spend time with the animals instead of a quick feed and potty break.
