Individual attention for your pet family member's needs as they arise or as scheduled when maintaining a routine in a home setting. We have plenty of time and space for petting and (if tolerated) tummy rubs periodically all day long, along with safe, comfortable spaces for alone time when desired.

Our house is a 2,600 square foot, conveniently located, pet friendly home happy to host your furry friends and family We don't currently have pet family members ourselves and have provided care to cats and dogs through Rover for over a year now. We are happy to share our attention and energy with your loved ones. There is someone home most if not all of the time-happy to discuss details prior to any stay. Included is 1 acre of outside space to explore on-leash while I function as his/her own personal guide. **We have somehow come to provide care for many high-need animals, and we are happy to do so as long as your pet is safe with humans. They must be able to be leashed to go in and out of the house and function in a home setting. Please disclose any behavior issues. We are happy to provide a complimentary meet and greet and prefer them prior to an overnight stay. This is not kennel type boarding, but your pet is a welcome guest in our home.

Is your pet ok with other animals or is solo care needed? Solo care for pets can be arranged, but unless planned in advance it is never guaranteed. We have a number of "regular" pet visitors that may or may not be here at the same time as your pet(s). We do keep the number of pets here at one time low, so there is plenty of individualized attention. Feeding plan and schedule. Medication information, if any. Any special needs or things we should know about?
A typical day
Regular outside walks at whatever frequency pet parents require and pets desire. Lots of land for sniffing trails of wildlife under my supervision to avoid trouble. Petting and talking to your furbabies to make sure they know someone is around to attend to their needs. Playtime worked in to every day unless physical limitations prohibit it. We can use a crate if you pet is already crate trained, but no crating is fine too.

May-June-July-August 2026-very limited availability. Please reach out and ask. Personalized alternative to boarding your pet(s). Happy to host your pets here in our home. 1 on 1 attention and care, as we only have pets from 1-3 households at a time. Easy to access location to settle your pet in for a day (or day and night) on the slopes, at the local breweries, off on a hike or whatever else you may want to explore on your Catskill Park excursion or work from the mountains time. Care for both cats and dogs in your home or ours.

Amy was an absolute lifesaver. I was horrified to realize that I had to go on a trip the day after my dog's surgery and thank goodness Amy was available in the pinch. She was incredible; extremely attentive to him and very engaged in his care, communicating with me the entire time, and working with me to solve issues as they came up.
