Even though we don't have a fence, we take dogs out on leashes regularly. Dogs have free roam of the home and will typically hang out in my office or on the couch when we watch TV.

If your dog has special concerns, let me know. I can give meds, split pills, handle storm fears and be very flexible with schedule. If your dog is good with dogs, or prefers a calmer environment, let me know and we will keep stimulation to a minimum.
A typical day
We live next to the trails, so we are often out there smelling all the good smells and visiting with other dog friends. If its a nice day, we may just sit on the front porch and greet neighbors.

Pet care experience
I have a home office and flexibility to let your sweet small dog have a comfy, attentive day. I am able to let them out frequently, take a walk or two and otherwise love them in your absence. The kids are grown and they would likely be the only dog here - but sometimes there is a little overlap. Occasionally, I may take more than one on a case by case basis. I have a home office and am here all the time! Overnights are good too. I lost my sweet office mate Rocket in 2022. He was a constant companion. We do not have a fence and have had dogs without a fence before. Every potty break is a little leash walk. They have run of the house and can sleep where ever comfy - with me at my feet, on a little pillow bed, or the sofa.

Amy is a top tier pet sitter. Our dog thinks of Amy as family. She provides lots of photos of your pet during their stay. Her photos are so good I use them on my phones wall paper.

Amy is an amazing sitter. I never worried a minute about how my senior doggo was doing during an extrended trip. She sent daily updates and I could see he was so comfy and well cared for. Won't hesitate to ask Amy to be his sitter again and again. He loves going to her house and getting lots of love and attention.
