I have the privilege of being home 24 seven which means if your pet stays with me I am home all the time. I lead a pretty active life and really enjoy hiking and going swimming at the river and lake, so your pet would have lots of outdoor time pending your approval.

Information Amy S. would like to know about your pet
Although I am not a licensed dog trainer, I have experience most specifically with large breed dogs, such as African mastiff ,English mastiff Rottweilers ,healers ,German Shepherd ,labradors, as well as miniature breeds. I would be happy to follow your training program you currently are instituting so while you’re gone, your dog is not losing practice.
A typical day
I am a very active person. I love being outdoors. I love to hike locally, Whipple creek trails, lacamas lake, round lake, Vancouver lake, Frenchmen’s bar, PSU campus and salmon creek/kline line trail are some of my favorite dog friendly places to go. I also love a good walk-through a neighborhood and maybe visiting a local park that the dogs are familiar and comfortable with. If you have a local dog playgroup you would like me to take your dog to while your gone I’d be happy to meet new dog parents and continue your dogs regular routine.

Pet care experience
I have been around animals since I was quite young. I raised and competitively showed horses my entire life. I had many jobs as a barn manager, taking care of horses and farm animals, chickens, goats, sheep, llamas, cows, cats, donkeys, mules, turkeys, pigs as well as all the farm dogs. I worked as an equine veterinary technician for 11 years. I’ve raised mastiff puppies for several years. My kids and I are becoming more involved with our local 4h group with our mini aussies. There’s not many animals I haven’t had the privilege of working with. I am a para educator at a local elementary school so I have my summers off and I am really excited to have that availability to work with animals.
Reviews

Amy goes above and beyond every time she house sits for us. The fur babies are always calm and happy when we get home. Thank you for all you do while we are away!

Amy is great. I had a last minute request; she responded quickly and took the job without issue. While I was out of town she took care of my two high maintenance canines as well as my home. My return flight was delayed by a few hours but Amy was super helpful in that she was willing to stick around for as long as I needed her. I absolutely would hire her again.

Amazing as always! Our fur babies were calm and relaxed when we got home. Thank you!

Amy was the perfect dog sitter for our 3 pups- reliable, responsive and responsible. We came home and I could tell they were loved and well cared for. The pups didn’t really care that we had left. Amy was amazing and we plan to book with her again.
