Compassionate Care for All Paws

(Currently welcoming bookings for August and upcoming months 🐾) Hi! I’m Amy, and I’ve been working with animals since I was 16 years old. My journey began volunteering and working in an animal shelter, where I gained experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. As a pet parent myself, I’ve had two wonderful dogs who have since crossed the rainbow bridge. They taught me just how much our pets mean to us—they’re family. Because of that, I treat every pet in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I have experience with walking, boarding, administering medications, and working with dogs who may be reactive or need a little extra understanding and structure. Whether your dog is energetic and playful, shy and nervous, or requires special care, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family member with someone else, so I’ll keep you updated every step of the way with photos, videos, and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I can’t wait to meet your four-legged family member and give them all the care, attention, and belly rubs they deserve! 🐾 Treating Your Pets Like Family Because That’s Exactly What They Are. 🐾

Amy did a fantastic job with my Lily. She made the process super easy and made Lily feel very comfortable in her home. Amy kept in communication with me throughout the time away and sent me updated pictures of Lily making herself at home. I would 100% use Amy again and would definitely recommend her to anyone needing someone to care for you animal. Thank you so much Amy.

Amy has always been that person that is the first one any pet will go to. One day in and she’s my pets’ new favorite person. She radiates the joy that they want to be around and also intentionally takes the time to acknowledge them in a way others often overlook. Amy is a top person to trust with your pet because she will love and care for each one as if it is her own, no matter their quirks!

Amy is extremely reliable and caring. I have a 13 year old dog and he loves going to stay at 'Aunty Amy's'. He is allowed to sleep on the couch and enjoys the sun on her patio. I receive updates and photos every day while he is on vacation which gives me piece of mind to enjoy my vacation. *****/***** stars for Amy.

Schedule

Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I already structure my day around consistency, responsibility, and animal needs. I’m used to early mornings, set feeding/walk schedules, and making sure pets get attention and care on time. On a daily basis, I plan my schedule around visits, walks, feeding times, and check-ins so pets are never rushed or overlooked. I make sure I always leave enough time for exercise, potty breaks, play, and any special care like medications or extra attention for anxious pets. Weekly, I stay flexible and organized so I can accommodate recurring bookings, last-minute needs when possible, and consistent routines for pets who thrive on structure. Communication with pet parents is also part of my routine I regularly send updates, photos, and notes so owners feel connected and reassured

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions exactly as given—feeding schedules, walk routines, litter box care, medications, and any behavioral needs. I take time to earn the pet’s trust at their pace, especially with shy, anxious, or reactive animals. I also keep the home clean and respected, and I provide regular updates with photos so owners know their pet is safe and comfortable. If pets are in my home (when applicable), I create a calm, safe environment where they can settle in comfortably. I keep their routines consistent with what they’re used to, provide a quiet space if they need it, and supervise interactions closely to ensure they feel secure. I prioritize low-stress transitions, plenty of attention (if the pet wants it), and maintaining their normal feeding, play, and rest schedule as closely as possible. Above all, whether in my home or theirs, I treat every pet like they’re my own babies providing a safe, loved, and cared for with patience and attention to detail.

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their personality and energy level! Whether it’s neighborhood walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, enrichment toys, cuddle time on the couch, or simply relaxing together, my goal is to keep your pet happy, engaged, and comfortable. For more active pups, I’m happy to go on longer walks or play outside. For seniors or more laid-back pets, I’ll make sure they get plenty of love, gentle attention, and a calm environment. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can see all the fun we’re having together!

I want to make your pet’s stay as stress-free as possible, so I’d love to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any quirks or preferences they have. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, medical conditions, fears (such as thunderstorms or fireworks), behavioral concerns, or training cues they respond to. The more I know about your pet, the better I can provide personalized care and make them feel safe, loved, and right at home.
