Availability
I typically work out of the house most week days. I walk the dogs early morning before work for a short walk, and again in the evening, on a longer walk, and most days I can come home at lunch to let them out for a potty and play break. Hosted dogs must stay in a kennel or alone in a separate room from my dog while I am away at work during the day. If this fits your dogs needs, then I am a good option for you for a longer stay. On the weekends I am typically home all day with the dogs with only short periods away to run errands, so I am a great option for boarding or daycare on the weekends if your dog needs lots of attention.

My yard is fenced, but one section is only 3.5 ft high, so not a good option for fence jumpers. My pup is ready to make friends, but I will supervise their play as they get to know each other.

Information Amy S. would like to know about your pet
I request to know about your dog's temperament, typical routine, and any special needs. For example, how they do on a walk, reactivity to people and other dogs, typical cues for needs, and behavioral issues. Also please advise of any behavior issues, such as counter surfing, digging holes, barking or trying to escape out the door. I especially need to know how your dog gets along with other dogs and their experience socializing.
A typical day
I have a fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks, including along the city rim trail nearby. I usually walk the dogs morning and evening, with midday and afternoon playtime in the yard. Walking time varies due to weather as we try to avoid the heat in summer.

Pet care experience
I am an experienced dog sitter and love to host your pet! Due to my work, I am typically only available for daycare or short boarding stays on weekends, and some holidays. I am a great fit to care for your dog while you attend a weekend canyon tour or raft trip. I am also available for longer multi-day stays if your dog can fit into my routine during the week, including while I am away at work Monday through Friday. Dogs boarding between Monday through Friday must be able to stay home alone calmly in a kennel or separate room from my dog for safety. I have a 5 year old dog, and can host dogs that get along with other dogs, tolerate sharing space with an energetic dog, as well as are up to date on vaccines and flea meds. I can care for small to large dogs, but they will do best if they are used to play and company. My dog has learned to leave others alone if they do not want to play, and she is generally very adaptive, so for shorter stays I can often accommodate dogs that are still learning to socialize or who need some space. I cannot accept dogs that are reactive or aggressive towards other dogs. Please note that I can often only schedule a few weeks out, since my work schedule sometimes requires traveling. I try to keep my calendar up to date. I have experience caring for small to large dogs, am very active, and love to take your dog for daily walks and spend time playing in the yard. We do regular walks around the neighborhood and on the rim trail, and occasional longer hikes. My dog loves to play, so we'll get lots of exercise! I currently do overnight boarding or single day daycare. Boarding rates are for 24 hrs per Rover policy. My quoted rates for daycare assume a stay of 8 hours or less; if you need daycare for longer than 8 hours, I will charge an extra fee of $5/hour. For daycare stays of longer than 10 hours, please book as boarding.
Reviews
Amy took great care of my dog and provided updates :)

Recently took a trip to Page to visit Antelope Canyon. They do not allow dogs so had to find an option to doggy sit for a few hours. messaged Amy and she was very helpful in scheduling the drop off time with local knowledge of the area. Amy responded very timely when setting up, she was very friendly albeit our dog was a little nervous. She send us photos and reached out during the trip (even if we lost cell service almost immediately upon leaving Page). I would highly recommend her and when we go back we hope to use her again.
Amy is a wonderful dog-sitter: we highly recommend her for when you are traveling to Page. She has a lovely fenced yard that our dog loved and she was very sensitive to whether he needed a break from the heat whenever he went outside. Her home is also very convenient to all the hotels in town. She is very friendly and communicative as well - 5 stars for sure!

Our dog Remy had the the best time playing at Amy’s. She texted us photos of Remy playing with her dog during the day. Remy came back pretty tired which was a good thing! Thank you Amy!
