Hi my name is Amy I am currently enrolled in Animal Behavior College and working on becoming a dog groomer. I have experience with young to senior pets. I am in the process of complete my Pet CPR certification. I understand the occasional pet vomiting accident can happen and I will happily clean up after a sickly pet the priority is always their comfort and health. Throughout my life friends, family, neighbors would have me take care of their pets when they needed help to walk them, groom, bathe or pet-sit. I had the wonderful opportunity to work at a animal rescue for senior dogs recently and it’s been life changing.

Growing up I had a variety of pets from dogs, cats, birds, chickens, turtles, and even a possum at some point. I got my first dog at 6 years old, I would ask my dad everyday after work for a dog until one day he came home with a puppy in his hands and my love for animals never faded since. As we grew together I learned to train/groom/walk her. She taught me the importance of being patient. I am currently 23 and I have had a variety of pets since. I use to volunteer at a pet shop, took animal care classes at a animal shelter, and I currently work at a nonprofit for animal rescue where senior dogs are rescued.

Schedule
I am currently working part time at a animal rescue and have a very flexible schedule. I am available on the weekdays and the weekend.
