Since a kid I’ve had many pets in my life, they have a special place in my heart. I have over 10 years of personal pet ownership, and currently have a 2 cats. I have over 4 years of experience fostering complex medical needs from puppies, older dogs and kittens. I’ve fostered complex medical care animals for over 7 years. From bottle feeding new born kittens, to a palliative care dog to a blind bearded dragon! I’m comfortable with young, full of energy puppies/kitten to a senior who just wants to snooze. I’m experienced with medically complex pets who need some extra TLC, medication, and patience. I also have experience handling small mammals, birds and reptiles so exotics are also welcomed 😊

My two boys (kitties) came back happy when I left them with her for a weekend, and my old girl Meeka (large black lab) actually had a new leash after the first walk she took her on because the latch worried her. I have no concerns leaving my little loves with this girl.
Amy is absolutely the best! I've relied on her services on many occasions and I consider her part of the family. Honestly, sometimes I feel like my cat actually belongs to her! She has been a fantastic pet sitter for my cat Striper. He's an old guy, has a pretty nasty spinal injury which requires daily medication and consistent monitoring which the most important part of his care and Amy takes care of all of these requirements and is more than capable of proper administering of medications and providing consistent updates.
Amy is my go to sitter for all my pets. I have several reptiles that each have their own husbandry need, a senior bengal and a large breed bully. She cares for each of their needs and they all adore her. I have known here when she has also fostered a range of special need animals, such as a high anxiety post op dog, bottle feeding new born kittens to a bearded dragon who was blind. I highly recommend Amy and she will always be my go to sitter and walker

Schedule
I am quite flexible! I can adjust for early mornings, late at night or somewhere in between. I am happy to provide a one time service or something ongoing.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will be my centre, and I ensure that whatever routine they need will be followed to keep anxiety low and comfort high. If they need a bit of decompression, I’ll keep my eye on them but leave space. If they need to be Velcroed to me, I’ll be clinging next to them. I want their experience with me to best match what they are use to. I’m comfortable adjusting approaches as needed and think flexibly in my care is key! I want to work with you to ensure your pet builds trust with me as well as you.
