Availability
I am currently working full time but on a flexible working schedule so I have a few days off in the month during the week which I would love to fill spending time with four legged friends. I sometimes work in the evening so have availability to look after dogs during the mornings in those weeks. Otherwise I finish work at 4 and would love to be able to spend evenings out walking with or calling in to see some wonderful dogs! I am currently only available for dog walking. This is usually after 4.30pm however on the 22nd and 24th August I am available in the morning before 11.

Safety, trust & environment
I mainly offer pet visits and dog walking as unfortunately I have a flat with no garden but I am dedicated to making sure pets feel happy and comfortable in whatever surroundings suit them best! Making sure that your pets are happy and healthy and comfortable in my company but meeting any and all of their needs is my top priority. I am not scared of taking on dogs with some specialist needs such as medication or anxiety disorders and have experience with this.
Information Amy R. would like to know about your pet
I would need to know the dogs fitness and energy levels- how far they like to be walked and if they have any conditions which would inhibit them walking on certain grounds or for too long. I also need to know how your dog behaves on a lead and what sort of environment they are happy being walked in- I.e. can they be walked on footpaths in urban areas or do they need somewhere more rural. Also if youe dog had any allergies or medication which may influence or be relevant for walking.
A typical day
When taking the dogs for a walk I love to explore a variety of areas and am very happy to travel to more rural locations if a dog is not comfortable or is unable to be walked in an urban area! A comfortable or brisk walk depending in the dogs needs followed by a rest for some water and some time playing would be my usual routine.

Experienced Dog Lover 🐕
Pet care experience
I have grown up with a dog in my household since I was a young child and have experience raising puppies from birth when my dog had a couple of happy accidents, so have extensive experience with dogs of all ages. I have particular experience dealing with dogs with anxiety and separation issues as my family pet suffers from anxiety and little white dog shaker syndrome. I used to regularly dog sit and dog walk when I lived in Northern Ireland and have great missed being around dogs so am really looking forward to getting back into it!
