I'm reliable, flexible, patient and trustworthy person. I can give the best care to your fur baby, from my life long experience from studying animal care & management at 16 years old and working with animals all my life - now 35 I've also owned dogs and cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and more throughout my entire childhood. In 2018, I started pet sitting/ boarding/ walks and drop in visits in Australia with an app called Mad Paws, looking after dogs and cats which was amazing, great dog parks and It was a very social activity! It made me want to carry this on back in the UK. Which I did part time since 2020 and now I run my own PetCare business called FurBabies PetCare. I've always had a passion to care for animals all my life! I've worked as an experienced animal carer for over 12 years working with the RVC and agencies, other companies and in dog kennels - breed/ raised / hand reared puppies and cared for them round the clock (even night shifts). Also have experience with medicating/ dosing, as I’ve worked at the RVC. And worked with farm animals, cats, birds, rodents, ponies, reptiles and amphibians and more. I'm used to dealing with different breeds, sizes and personalities, ages, requirements and more which allows me to adapt to every dog's needs. I’ve also looked after rescue dogs and a lot of covid pups that have separation anxiety / reactive dogs. At college, I studied BTEC Animal Care and Management and IAT Animal Science and Technology. Which I really enjoyed! Animal care and welfare are my top priority! Expanding on my knowledge, I’m also completed my course with the dog walking and sitting association including canine first aid. Completed my canine nutrition course, also doing consultations on that and I’m starting a dog training course. This now gives me the opportunity to share my experience, care and passion for caring for your pets too! I generally take on House sits, drop in visits and dog walks, puppy visits and more within a 10 mile radius. I also offer hourly visits, if you’d like your pet to have company while your out for the day or evening and don’t want them to be left alone. From April 2022 this will be my full time career - looking after your pets around the clock, so let me know If I can help take care of your Fur baby :) Making sure everything is secure and safe, the pet is comfy and happy, being trustworthy and reliable and keeping the environment neat, tidy and respected - the way it was left.
