Home is where my dogs are!

Pet care experience

My name is Amy, and I am a special education teacher for Lubbock ISD, and my husband Ross is a K9 handler for the Lubbock Police Department. Although we both work full time, our pups are a major priority in our lives and we love to spend time with them! We can't imagine a life without our pups and we understand that you feel the same. Please rest assured that we will do everything we can to make sure that you and your pup feel comfortable while in our care! About our pups: Together, we have four fur babies. Ben is a 10 year old brittany spaniel who loves to cuddle. Scout is our 6 year old yellow lab who enjoys duck hunting with Ross and has received his 'Seasoned' title in the HRC Hunt Test. Yako is our high-energy Belgian malinois police K9 that gets to go to work with Ross each day. He is extremely social, and loves to be around people and other dogs. (Yako does have his own special enclosure at our house, and will not be socialized with your pet during his/her stay.) Mia is the newest addition to our family. She is a 3 year old dachshund mix that we rescued from Dusty Puddles Dachshund Rescue here in Lubbock. She loves to play and has the most lovable personality! Needless to say, our dogs keep us busy and we love it! Our pups enjoy our huge backyard, which is half an acre and completely fenced in. We love to take our dogs on walks in Quincy Park, which is just a few blocks from our home. Ross and I have loved on these babies for years, and we will love yours just the same! I assure you that your pet will be in great hands at our home! We will make sure to send as many updates as you would like while your dog is in our care. Please feel free to contact us!

Any and Ross have made my little Oreo a welcome member of their family when we travel to Lubbock. It’s his home away from home. Lovely home, large yard and lots of love for fur babies. I highly recommend them.

Amy was great with our pup! She was super responsive and provided pictures of our happy dog at each drop in visit. We will definitely ask Amy to dog sit again in the future!

Very responsive and a lovely home and huge backyard. We will always choose Amy first on our trips to Lubbock. Our dogs ran to her door on the second visit.
