A typical day
Dog walking first thing in the morning isn’t just good for dogs but also humans too! I’d try straight up and out the door, followed by breakfast unless they have other preferences. Lots of naps and structured play if they are that way inclined.

Pet care experience
Available for drop in visits and boarding at my house to care for your pets whilst you’re away. Use my code AMYP05535 for £15 off your first Rover booking! If you’re interested in the doggy day care option, I live in a smoke-free house with a grassy garden and plenty of space for your pets to relax wherever they feel comfortable (I’m not fussy about furniture!). No children or other pets live with me and I only ever board pets from one family at a time so they get my full attention. For a bit of background about me: I have spent time volunteering at a dog and cat rescue shelter in Portugal as well as working at an animal sanctuary in England. I have experience with a variety of dog breeds and have personally rescued two Dogue de Bordeaux’s (French Mastiffs) so have great confidence and competence when it comes to taking care of pets big or small, simple or complex. I work a hybrid schedule, so I can work around your requirements. I’ll work with you to make sure your dogs and cats are well looked after and loved while you’re away. Every pet has their own personality, and I always take the time to get to know their quirks. I’m calm, confident and always happy to follow your routines—whether that means following particular feeding preferences, or special care and cleaning instructions. Drop me a message to see how I can help give your dog/cat the love and care they deserve while you’re out and about!

Reviews

Amy is an excellent cat sitter. She looks after our two elderly cats really well and it's so nice to come back to a clean and tidy house and relaxed and contented cats.

Amy really looked after our two ancient cats well and kept us updated with photos and reports. Made it much easier to enjoy our time away

Amy was great with our dog Barney at our house for the evening, he chilled out with her and she kept in contact. Will definitely use again when needed :)

Amy was fantastic with Beanz! She communicated clearly throughout, and made the whole process stress-free. She spent time playing with Beanz, and it was obvious he was happy and well cared for. She also kept his food and water bowls clean, and I came back to a tidy kitchen. I’ll definitely be booking her again in the future, highly recommended!
