Hello! I am a full-time traveling petsitter with my “home” family located in the Philadelphia suburbs. I open up my Rover up calendar to other families on the dates they don’t need me. I set my service area to areas I already want to visit. I may have to travel some distance to get to you, but I have never canceled or missed a booking. Travel expense will be covered by me. I travel differently, based on my astrocartography. So it’s more about the way those energies influence interpersonal development than it is about making plans and doing things. Meaning I can still spend most of my time in your home with your pets, putting them first. My Biggest areas of interest are from the Boston MA area to the Portland ME Portland areas, but I am willing to accept a booking anywhere from Pennsylvania to Maine. EXPERIENCE I'm an experienced pet sitter, and beginner dog trainer. I enjoy learning about dog psychology and different training methods, but if I am totally honest animal behavior is something that first comes natural to me. I would love to help reinforce or curate a training program for your dogs, cater to their emotional needs, or simply oxytocin bathe with them! It would give me the opportunity to dial-in and work towards offering more specialized pet and animal services. ABOUT I have a lifetime of general caregiving and pet care experience, but have only turned to it as a source of income within the last few years when I developed a physical disability and had to throw in the towel on the type of work I was doing before. As such, I am not able to handle large dogs over 65 pounds if they pull on walks. I am also not able to do tug-o-war, or withstand throwing a ball if as a sole form of exercise and enrichment. The exercise I provide must be diversified and staggered throughout the day. A win in my book, since this is actually better for pets as well! I've been on Rover offering housesitting specifically since Oct 2024, focusing on extended stays. I strive for my extended-stay clients to have peace of mind during a trip away. Safety, trust & environment
SAFETY Animals naturally warm up to me and feel safe and comfortable with me, but of course there always exist exceptions. I prefer not to handle XL breeds, dogs with aggressive proclivities, or severe pulling and behavioral issues on walks. I can do drop-in and overnight sitting for large dogs if walks are not expected, or the dog is well behaved and doesn’t pull. I bring with me a tactical belt that serves as a waist harness to attach leashes, as well as an Ezy Dog leash and coupler, just to have some extra options for comfort and security. This setup works better if your dogs have harnesses. Of course I don't have to use it and can use what you provide. We should review your emergency contact info and preferred emergency plan(s), as well as any security measures in place for, or that I should uphold for your home. Alarm system? Is your home a key-less entry or will there be a key hidden?

Amy was so wonderful! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures of Freddie while I was gone. She was the perfect house guest and I could tell she really cared about making sure Freddie felt loved and safe (especially during the 4th of July fireworks). 10/10 would have her stay with Fred again.
Amy was amazing! She gave many update throughout our vacation and sent lots of photos of our babies! I would book with her again.
Amy did great with our dogs. She was patient and actively engaged with them. She kept us updated on how they were doing with messages and pictures.
Amy takes the best care of Biscotti and we never have any worries leaving our pet with her! Great at communicating and sending photos!

Schedule
AVAILABILITY One of the benefits of gig work for me is the privilege to live with the flow of life. I do a good job of keeping my calendar current, but being that I am in a transitional period of life and live in a state of travel, I prefer not to book too far into the future. And I don't mind last minute requests. Messages about scheduling and availability are always welcomed.
