Rover is my full time job! 😀

Pet care experience

As of August 2022, Rover (Brooklyn Bark) is my full time job! ---------------------------------- IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: *We take 4+ dogs at a time, as well as have our own two. So your dog(s) will be with other dogs of all sizes and ages. It is important they get along really well with other dogs. **For the dogs safety, I do require they be comfortable in a kennel for times I am not able to directly supervise them, like when I'm gone or sleeping. Outside of those times, they are free to be anywhere on the main level with me. ***I only take dogs that are spayed or neutered. ---------------------------------- There is no need to bring anything other than their food to Brooklyn Bark! We have water and food bowls, plenty of treats, toys, bones, beds and kennels. I have had my own dogs for 25+ years. I signed up with Rover.com when we moved to Brooklyn Park in January 2019, after my divorce, and I have been loving it ever since! We get to meet and care for a variety of dogs and help owners know their dogs are in good hands while they are away. My teenage daughter is very responsible and helps love and care for our dogs. She's been around dogs her entire life. We adopted our dog, Oreo on March 20th, 2020. She is definitely more interested in people over pets, but loves to chase with dogs. She is our tattletale as well, she will bark and get my attention if she thinks another dog is doing something they shouldn't. Luna was abandoned with us. Her previous owner stopped responding October 16th of 2022, after we watched her for a month and a half. She is very sweet, playful and hilarious. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and then she'll curl up with them to nap. We also have two cats. We got them both from friends who's cats had kittens in September 2020. They typically stay downstairs, but come up through the cat door if they feel comfortable with the dogs that are here. Their instincts are amazing. The dogs aren't allowed downstairs, so the cats have their own space. We treat all dogs as if they were our own and love them that way too. They will get lots of play time, nap time and cuddle time. We would love to take care of your dog(s) while you are away!

Amy was FANTASTIC with my doggo!!! Extremely attentive and responsive to all my messages. She takes wonderful care of all the dogs she watches and is very clearly excited about making sure they are as happy as can be! My doggo was so happy! We might try to plan vacations just so we can board our collie with Amy!

Amy did a great job watching our fur baby! You can tell she does this for a living. She’s very professional, and the environment is perfect for our little fur friends. We will definitely be working with Aimee again.
