I am a huge animal lover. I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, and the occasional rabbit and hamster. I have two rescue senior cats of my own and have volunteered at several animal shelters helping to care for cats. I spent 5 years traveling the world as an international pet sitter and even wrote a book about those adventures. Now that I have settled back in the States, I look forward to cat sitting in my home. I have experience with basic animal training, grooming, first aid, and giving medications. My home is filled with cat trees, beds, toys, and the main room has cat steps that go up the wall to a series of platforms. So whether your cats like low places or high places, they will find a spot they enjoy.

I'm a first-time pet owner, and getting Amy was wonderful. She was very helpful and guided throughout the process, both before dropping her off and when picking her up. She kept in daily contact, and my kitten had a blast. I would book with her again without hesitation; I highly recommend her.
Amy took wonderful care of my cat Sophia...In fact, I'm not sure Sophia wanted to come home! I got daily pictures and updates and I rested easy knowing she was well cared for... I will use Amy again in a heartbeat!

Amy took such good care of my cat Pluto! I was nervous leaving her for the first time, but Amy addressed all of my concerns and made it really easy for Pluto to adjust! She also sent frequent updates to let me know that Pluto was doing just fine, and Pluto really enjoyed her time with Amy!

Schedule
Every cat in my home gets special individualized attention every day. The cats have free run of the house, but I can separate my cats from yours if yours prefer to be alone.

As a previous pet owner and homeowner, I understand the importance of keeping the home clean, safe, and tidy, and can handle any household emergencies that might arise. The same is true for your cats. I know how to deal with any mishaps that may occur and will keep you informed of how everything is going during the sit.

My goal is to keep your cats on the same schedule and routine that you provide. That generally helps them feel comfortable and secure while you are away. Plus, you know they are being cared for the same way that you would.
