My husband and I are the proud owners of three young indoor cats ages 3-5. One came from the shelter and two came from the universal cat distribution system. Hah. Each are rescues: one was abandoned after an apartment move out, one was severely neglected, and one was surrendered to the Oregon humane society due to a medical emergency. It has been a rewarding journey to earn their trust and companionship. I look forward to meeting your kitties!

I am comfortable with kitties that have special needs and temperaments, like a pair of kitties that need to be separated to eat so that no food gets stolen. :) I will always run through a script of need-to-know questions if we talk in person or online (ie: anything from administering meds to where I leave your key at the end of the visit!). I have used rover as a client as well, so I know both sides of pet care via the app.
A typical day
I am always glad to include playtime, brushing, and cuddles with drop-in visits. If your kitty is shy and needs space, that’s no prob! Let’s talk about your kitty’s temperament ahead of a visit.

I’m lucky to say that I’ve always had kitties in my life. I am experienced with young cat care and stimulation through play as well as late life care for cats that need a little extra TLC, vitamins, or meds. One of my own kitties is a long hair Himalayan Persian so I have experience in gentle brushing for long hair cats and cleaning ocular discharge.
