I have been taking care of cats and dogs for over 20 years, which includes both young and old pets. Currently, I have one cat who helps to keep my old DC row home rodent free.

Amy was great with our beagle! He’s a highly anxious dog and she took excellent care of him.
Amy was amazing! I was really nervous leaving my 2 dogs for a whole week because this was their first time staying with a sitter. My younger dog is reactive and my other dog is older and needs to take her medicine every morning so I was a little worried they might be too much, but they had a blast with Amy! I would definitely have her watch my dogs again.
Bailey and Easy are always so happy to see Amy! She takes great care of my girls.
Amy was wonderful in every way. Responsive, caring, and kind. I know Tucker was well cared for and made to feel at home, and Amy put my heart at ease. ❤️
My 9 year old dog Sophie is a little high maintenance with her food and medicine, and Amy did a great job taking care of her over the weekend!

Schedule
I am currently in-between jobs and have a flexible schedule from my house in DC. Living close to a river trail, I enjoy taking long walks to observe nature and get my steps in.

I enjoy running and could take dogs who handle a leash well with me on runs. I also enjoy timid animals who need time to warm up.

- Please let me know any special accommodations needed for your dog or cat to confirm that I can meet them, such as medication, feeding/treats, etc. Since I work full-time hybrid most days and am at work from 10a-6:30p on Tuesdays, I will not be a good fit for animals who cannot be left for that long.
