Pet care experience
❤️ caring for dogs under 25 lbs ❤️
I have cared for dogs for decades and enjoy getting to know each one of them. In addition to my own pets throughout my life, I have fostered dogs from Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and attended their trainings. I can care for dogs up to 25 lbs.

I’m so glad that I found Any. She is so caring and my puppy liked her. 🙏

Amy is always wonderful with our Dilly! He is excited to go see her and she took very good care of him during a vacation. She has experience with smaller pups and knows how to manage his delicate dachshund back correctly.

Amy was great! She took Peabee for multiple walks and gave great notes of everything that happened. My dog seemed very happy after she returned him.

Amy was very kind to my fur baby who had the opportunity to hang out with her elderly dog. It was sweet of them to accept Noli when I had to make last minute travel plans. She taught my dog how to potty on pee pads, which I wasn’t sure about at first. This didn’t break his training when we got home, so that was good. Amy gave Noli some departure gifts which was sweet. This home is nice if you have a dog who can chill at a slower pace and be buds with a sweet older porch.

Sadly, during my dog's third stay at Amy's home, Amy said she dropped some rice on the kitchen floor that my dog got into. My dog had a very bad reaction pacing and panting with dilated eyes for 11 hours from the afternoon I picked her up until around 2:40am. She didn't sit still until 4am and fell asleep at 6am. My dog was constipated for 1.5 days and when she finally pooped, there was a strange strong chemical smell and yellow streaks in her poo. I talked to the sitter who watched my dog the day before the stay with Amy, and that sitter said she was normal and had no constipation. Amy at least notified me in the morning when it happened and said she would get a gate to block the kitchen. Hence the 2nd star in the rating. Also, Amy only took one photo super zoomed in out of the three stays and I only met her at the front of her building during the meet and greet.

Amy saved the day for my chiweenie, Willar and I. Her pup Winston is a such a cute little guy and very mild mannered. Amy took great care of my little senior pup currently on a special diet and needing lots of attention and affection. Amy was also flexible and understanding of my own separation anxiety being away from my furbaby 😄

Schedule
I walk dogs in my care at least 5 times per day, more if needed. I really love watching them sniff and explore while walking.

A typical day
Each day starts with a brief walk for potty purposes. Every walk ends with a small dog treat. Another brief walk around 10am. Then a 30 minute walk around 1:30. Then 2 more brief walks as needed. Between walks, there's plenty of time for snuggling and playing fetch, depending on the dog's needs.
