I have cared for many over the years and shared my life with a couple of my own as well. My days always include outside and I also live on a lake so if your dog likes swimming he or she will be happy here!

Amy is a wonderful dog sitter, and just a kind person overall. She took such good care of our young Nero, his first long stretch away from home. She was patient and shared pictures with us every day, giving us huge piece of mind. She was also honest- that he was in high need of attention, maybe more than we realized, which is helpful to know as we continue our training journey. I highly recommend Amy. It is truly evident she loves dogs and will spend quality time with them in nature and at home. I’m sorry he stole her cheese!
I needed someone to take care of my little dog Buster for about a week and was fortunate to find Amy nearby. We had an initial meeting and I found her to be friendly and very personable. She loved Buster and readily agreed to take care of him. Amy sent pictures every day of their walking adventures with tidbits of information and he seemed very content. I was honestly looking forward to her messages every day! My little fluff ball was very happy to see me upon my return and knowing Buster very well, I can tell that he was very happy in Amy’s care. A+ for Amy! We recently travelled and used Amy for the first time on super short notice. She was extremely flexible in accommodating our schedule and sent us daily updates with a ton of pictures, which was really nice and made us feel at ease. I got the sense that Amy was a very kind and wonderful person just in texting with her, and upon meeting her confirmed it 100% There is no doubt that our pup was well loved and cared for at Amy’s. Schedule
I am currently working from home. My schedule is flexible. My days always include some time outside gardening, hiking or walking. I usually go into the mountains for my walks at least once a week.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a fenced yard so your dog must be comfortable and obedient on leash. I will provide a loving, snuggling and active experience for your pup in alignment with his or her current routines and/or preferences. Please note that my home has stairs.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physcially and mentally. We'll go on daily walks at the beach, at the kinsol trestle, cobble hill or the cowichan valley trail.
