Availability
I’m currently unemployed so available all week and have availability most weekends too. I also have my own car so can drive to do more frequent visits, or even transport the dog/cat to and from walks. I’m happy to either stay with them at your home or bring your pet to mine for the day, or just drop in for a potty break and play, whatever works best :)

Information Amy L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know beforehand about your dogs temperament, favourite games, favourite treats and how/if they like to be pet/made a fuss off so that I can make sure I’m giving each dog attention in a way that is specific to them to make their time with me as enjoyable as possible :)
A typical day
Depending on the energy levels of the dogs, I will take them on a long, high energy walk to tire them out with lots of running around and playing fetch, or a shorter lower energy walk with lots of things to sniff to mentally stimulate them. Happy to let dogs off lead once trust is gained and I know they will respond to my calls. Also enjoy playing tug of war and other games with them with their toys to make sure they’re given attention throughout the day :)

Pet care experience
I have grown up with animals all my life, from hamsters, fish, and dogs - most recently I owned a Syrian hamster called Dandelion (I adopted him as he had a brain injury) and a tropical fish tank. My sister also has 2 Australian labradoodles who I look after regularly. One of my first jobs was at a cattery (cat hotel) and I worked there for 3 years so gained lots of experience working with cats of all different temperaments. I volunteered for the Cinnamon Trust during Covid which involved me looking after or taking dogs out for walks if their owner was unable to due to illness or other reasons, so also have experience working with dogs of all sizes. I started Rover 3 years ago when I lived in London and have since cared for man pets, some of whom I now care for regularly. Please drop me a message if you’d like to know anything else!
