Hello, I have over 30 years experience as a professional pet sitter. I provide overnight pet care service for both cats and dogs for Austin, MN, Minneapolis, Saint Paul and surrounding suburbs. At this time, I only provide overnights in the Twin Cities due to living out of the area.

Overnight Sitting: Initially, having a stranger in your home may be difficult. I understand and I will try to make it as comfortable as possible. I am a trustworthy pet sitter. I stay to myself and the areas I am allotted. I do not allow or have company in your home nor do any types of behaviors that would be deemed as inappropriate. At our initial meeting, I provide my personal contact information so you can additionally feel secure knowing that you are able to contact me or others no matter what time. I do my best to assure to make sure that your time away is as stress-free as possible by providing regular updates and photos. An overnight stay for your pet includes 24-hour care, unlimited walks with cleanup, playtime, feeding, petting, love and anything else your pet needs! I reside in your home during your absence, protect your home and care for your pet(s), bring my own food and leave for 1-2 hours every day or every other day for breaks, shower etc. If you have both dog(s) AND a puppy - I do not charge for BOTH the puppy rate on top of the dog rate. Also, if you have both dogs AND cats, I do not charge for each additional cat. We can work out the final payment details through Rover at our first meeting.

Amy did an awesome job with our dogs for a drop in visit on short notice. She was prompt and took our pups on a nice long walk while we were gone for the entire day. Amy was very thorough. She was respectful of the fact this was our first time using a house/dog sitter for an extended time. She had great recommendations, was very attentive to our pups, made sure our home was well taken care of and she sent routine updates as promised. We liked that Amy invested time in a premeeting and took notes on our upcoming needs. The dogs were comfortable with her. She is friendly, prompt (always on time), and when we returned home, everything was just as we left it. She did a great job. Amy was both personable and professional throughout the entire process.
We had Amy pet sit for our large dog in our condo for 8 days. We have never left him before because he is blind as well as has a seizure disorder. We needed to go overseas for a wedding. Our dog required numerous medications and eye drops, as well as company. We couldn't have been happier with Amy and her very kind treatment of our pet. In addition, she sent us daily pics and emails about how he was doing. which took away all our worries. We were so happy she took on his care in light of his health issues. She is very good with dogs and our house was absolutely immaculate when we arrived back home. Amy is reliable, very kind, and got along with neighbors, who commented how nice she was. I wouldn't hesitate to ask for Amy's help again and trust her the way I would family. She is worth every cent, and then some!
Amy dog sat over night at my house while I was away and she was great. During our initial meet and greet she came prepared with questions related to my dog's care, that hadn't even crossed my mind. While gone, she updated me regularly and in so many of the pictures Harvey (my dog) looked content, well cared for and loved which made me feel at peace. My house was well cared for as well. Best of all, I came home to a happy healthy dog :) I would definitely use Amy again for other dog car needs!
Amy Koppelman is the one to hire for your dogs and cats. Truly the best! We've had Amy meet both our dogs and our cats; she brings out the best in them, tends to their nail clipping and walking as needed, lets our cats in and out and even returned to let one of our cats back in...takes care in feeding, watering, cleaning the litters and asking about all the specifics needed. She takes the time to update us (complete with pictures) and we couldn't be more pleased or delighted to have Amy in our pocket. Our pets love her. We can go out of town feeling peaceful - the best part! Wonderful value and the utmost of professionals. A gem.
