Got Pets? Here to help!

I have had pets my whole life and cared for my own for the past 20 years. I've had all creatures small (hamster) to large (St. Bernard). I currently have 2 dogs, a hamster, and 4 chickens. My family and I have also fostered pups through a local rescue for the past 5 years. We have aided in puppy training to senior care through both personal pets and fostering. I also work at a vet clinic with regular interaction with all sorts of animals. Outside of all the experience, I love animals. I love playing, snuggling, training and treating all animals as if they are my own. I have 3 children who have also inherited my love of animals and love to interact with any pet that comes through our home. ❤️

Amy and Jason took great care of our puppy! We got great updates throughout the weekend and our girl came home tuckered out! We’ll definitely be using them again.

Amy P was absolutely wonderful with our dog! From the start, she was kind, great communication, and clearly someone who truly loves animals. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in her care. She kept us updated and treated him like her own. We would 100% trust Amy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter.

Amy would be an excellent pet caregiver. She has always had dogs in her home and regularly fosters Bassett Hounds from the Basset Hound Rescue. She has 2 rescued dogs that Amy and her family fell in love with. Amy works at a vet clinic and enjoys it because she can be around dogs. Amy grew up with dogs and has loved them ever since; she would be an asset to this organization.

Amy has an overall LOVE for animals! No matter the animal, she is always willing to help care for your furry family members! She deeply cares for all pets by giving them the attention they seek, as well as the care and love they need! I highly recommend Amy for any pet care needs you may have!

Schedule

Both adults in the home work. My hours are part time allowing more availability to spend with your pet. Our resident dogs have free roam of the house for up to 6 hrs unattended, but can be crated if need be. There is typically someone home until 10am each day and home by 3. Potty breaks and cuddles in the morning and then walks, and lots of cuddles in the afternoon and evening. 1 weekday and weekends there is someone home all day to give all the attention.

Safety, trust & environment

Our resident and foster pups have a basic schedule of eating and morning, afternoon and evening potty breaks in our backyard. Dogs that are trained well on a leash, or new puppies that need training, will get 2-3 walks a day. We have cozy places for naps and all pets are allowed on furniture. Depending on the pet we are happy to let them free roam or crate, whatever the preference is of owner for times we are not home. Between the adults and kids in the home, your pet will get lots of cuddles and playing, treats and mind stimulation.

Pets

A typical day

Mornings always start with extra snuggles, breakfast and a walk or trip to the backyard. Throughout the day we will have play time with toys, brain games, and scratches. We will plan another walk mid-afternoon and again before bed. We've got a great circular neighborhood with a fun path to romp through down by the river. Dinner in the evening and of course a before bed treat. If you're lucky enough to be with us during the weekend (and enjoy car rides), you may get lucky enough to join in a family outing to a park to play some more.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs regarding medications, food, eating/bathroom habits. Key words are always helpful too. If you have a puppy that you are training, please provide me with a list of commands that you plan to use so that we can reinforce them during your pets stay with us.
