My work is desk-based, and I can be very flexible in when I go into the office. I like to get out a couple of times a day for a walk (and to get away from my desk!) so this would fit in very well for dog walking especially. I also can work from your home (I just need WiFi, and a monitor is perferred but not essential!) to give your pet the true attention and company they deserve.

Information Amy J. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know in advance any hiding places for pets, and 'tricks of the trade', and a little bit about them and their personality - I want to ensure the transistion from owner to pet sitter is as smooth as possible for them. I am happy to meet you and your pets in advance too, so not only do you get to know me, but your pets get a good sniff too so I am at least a familar face (or smell!) when I see them again!
A typical day
I am happy to do whatever you'd like from me! For both dogs and cats, I will ensure I play with them regularly, and for dogs, ensure their walks are different each day and at least 30 minutes in length, and multiple times a day. I also like stimulating pets in other ways - for example, each of my foster cats I taught how to sit! It is a great bonding oppurtunity and good fun. Success solely dependant on treats... For pop-in visits, I aim for a minimum of 30 minutes per visit, but with the aim to be there for an hour. For overnight stays, I try to be in the home for as much as possible.

Watford Pets: Loved Like My Own! 🐾
Pet care experience
*DUE TO CURRENT HOT WEATHER, I can offer very early or very late walks to avoid the sunshine! 🐶🐾 Hello :-) I have always been a huge lover of pets from a very early age. Unfortunately, due to my Mother being allergic to dog hair, we were unable to keep dogs. On the plus side, she was not allergic to cat hair, so I grew up with cats, chickens, ducks and swans! (I lived in Cheshire in the countryside). As I was unable to have my own dog to cuddle, I have always jumped at the chance to dogsit. I advertised in the local area on Facebook and began to take dogs for small walks or stay over and dogsit overnight, including regularly looking after my best friend's dogs. Having moved to Watford and now unable to have pets in my home due to renting, I would love to get my daily animal hugs from giving lovely dogs some walks around the local parks. It will also help me get a better view of where I live and learn my surroundings, and what better way to do that with a pooch by your side! I work in Central London and I am very flexible in the sense of travel and times (I finish work around 16:00/16:30 Mon-Fri, but can 'work from home' regularly, including the whole week if needs be, should you need a sitter/walker in the daytime). I haven't had much experience with dog care as I didn't grow up with them, but I look after friend and family dogs regularly, and I am an experienced overnight stay cat sitter due to foster care over many years. If you need someone to walk your dog or to just give them some friendly company and hugs, then please get in touch. I am very happy to meet up beforehand so you can put a face to the name and discuss anything. I look forward to hearing from you, and for the animal cuddles!! Amy :-)

Amy was Great! Went above and beyond for our Truffle! You can tell she truly loves cats! First time we had left Truffle alone and he absolutely loved her. Thanks so much Amy!
First time I used a cat sitter but so happy with Amy and her service. Really went out of her way to look after my cat. Will 100% use again
Amy was fantastic looking after our two 1-year-old cat brothers! It was our 1st cat sitting experience so appreciated her proactive approach, advice, & attention to the schedule, incl. full litter change. She gave twice daily updates, photos & even befriended our shyest cat! We'd gladly book Amy again—highly recommend!
