*DUE TO CURRENT HOT WEATHER, I can offer very early or very late walks to avoid the sunshine! 🐶🐾 Hello :-) I'm Amy, and I have always been a huge lover of pets. Unfortunately, due to my mum being allergic to dog hair, we were unable to keep dogs growing up. The silver lining was that she wasn't allergic to cats, so I grew up surrounded by cats, chickens and ducks! In my adult years, I gained extensive experience fostering, including for Mayhew in North West London. I fostered multiple cats and kittens during that time, including poorly cats who required daily medication - all of whom you can see in my profile photos alongside my wonderful clients! I also have experience boarding pets within my own home. Due to my current work travel schedule, I feel unable to have a full-time pet of my own right now. Instead, I get my animal fix by giving lovely dogs walks around the local parks, doing overnight housesitting for all animals, and boarding animals when I am available. My home has many nearby parks so all doggy walks will be different adventures each time! When I am not traveling, I work in Central London and am incredibly flexible with my times and travel. I finish work around 16:00/16:30 Mon-Fri, but I can work from home regularly (including full weeks if needed) if you need a daytime sitter or walker. I also own my own car, so traveling to your neighborhood is incredibly easy. Whether your furry family member is a dog who needs an energetic walk or a pet that just needs some friendly company and overnight sitting, I treat every animal with the absolute highest level of attention, safety, and affection - just as I would my own. I will also follow your cues and guidance, especially on dog walks, to ensure all training is maintained and enforced. I also offer to meet up beforehand (free of charge) so we can chat through your pet's exact routine and ensure it's a perfect match! Also experienced in: 🐾Caring for other pets such as fish, snakes, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and rodents (not all in the same cage at once...). 🎾 Playtime & Enrichment – Fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys etc. 💊 Medication & Special Care – If your pet/s needs medication or has specific care requirements, I am confident and experienced in following detailed instructions. 🐾Teaching cats a couple of tricks... I found this excellent for bonding when fostering, and was successful in getting the majority of my foster cats to at least sit on command! ✨ Extra peace of mind for overnight sits & pop-ins: To make sure your home runs smoothly while you're away, I also offer: - Bringing in the post - Watering your plants - Opening/closing curtains so the house looks occupied - Any other small household tasks you might need! 🛋️ Not only will I treat your pet/s as my own, I will also treat your home as I do my own too. 📸 Regular Updates – We know how much you miss your furry family member, so we'll keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages during their stay. Schedule
My work is desk-based, and I can be very flexible in when I go into the office. I like to get out a couple of times a day for a walk (and to get away from my desk!) so this would fit in very well for dog walking especially. I also can work from your home (I just need WiFi, and a monitor is perferred but not essential!) to give your pet the true attention and company they deserve.

A typical day
I am happy to do whatever you'd like from me! For both dogs and cats, I will ensure I play with them regularly, and for dogs, ensure their walks are different each day and at least 30 minutes in length, and multiple times a day. I also like stimulating pets in other ways - for example, each of my foster cats I taught how to sit! It is a great bonding oppurtunity and good fun. Success solely dependant on treats... For pop-in visits, I aim for a minimum of 30 minutes per visit, but with the aim to be there for an hour. For overnight stays, I try to be in the home for as much as possible.
