Calm Home, Loving Care

If you're looking for someone who will care for your dog like family, you're in the right place. Dogs have been a part of my life for 20+ years, and caring for them is something I truly love. I've raised and cared for three of my own rescued dogs, Mumbles, Rose, and Benny. I have experience boarding dogs in my home, providing drop-in visits, potty breaks and dog walking for neighbors, and house-sitting for a special needs dog. I've also volunteered with multiple dog rescue groups and was a foster "fail" momma to the sweetest, most sensitive Staffy you could ever meet. Dogs are family and bring me so much joy. When your dog stays with me, my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home.

Amy is an incredibly caring and responsible pet caregiver. She has watched our two dogs several times and always treats them like her own. When we adopted one of our dogs from a shelter, Amy even helped nurse her back to health with lots of patience, love, and extra attention. She truly pampers every dog in her care, including her own adorable Corgi, Benny. I always feel completely comfortable knowing our dogs are with Amy and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy pet sitter!

She is reliable, trustworthy, and caring. Our dogs bonded with her immediately and they run to greet her every time! Couldn’t ask for anyone better.

I know first hand that Amy would be a loving and responsible caregiver. She took excellent care of my deaf and partially blind 15 year old Cocker Spaniel. Amy administered his meds, pampered him, and gave him the same loving care she gives to her own dog. I think of Amy as a fierce loving dog "mom"! She loves to pamper her corgi, Ben, with lots of walks, play time, snuggles, & comfy beds to curl up in. And she is fiercely protective of him, making sure he is healthy and safe. Any dog in Amy's care would be treated as she treats her own Ben. That dog would feel pampered, safe, and loved.

I cannot recommend Amy enough! She’s helped us out of a few binds on short notice when we needed last-minute dog walking and we’re quite grateful for her help. Our dog is happy and excited every time he sees her. If you need a reliable doggy caretaker, look no further!

Amy is incredibly patient and kind. Her pup, Benny, is an absolute sweetheart—calm, friendly, and easygoing. Amy was truly helpful and knowledgeable both before and after we adopted our dog. I highly recommend staying with Amy and Benny!

I cannot recommend Amy highly enough as a pet sitter! She has cared for my dogs at her home on many occasions, and I have always been completely confident knowing they are in her care. She is exceptionally attentive, caring, loving, and playful with them. She treats my dogs as if they were her own, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, walks, and affection. She is also very responsible and makes sure they have everything they need to feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while they are away from home. My dogs absolutely love being with her, and I can tell they feel safe and comfortable in her home. She goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy and well taken care of. I never have to worry when they are with her, which gives me tremendous peace of mind. If you are looking for someone who will truly love and care for your pets like family, I would wholeheartedly recommend her. She is an exceptional pet sitter and someone I trust completely with my dogs!

Schedule

I work from home and have flexible weekends, so your fur baby won't be left alone for long stretches. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Every dog is different, so their routine can be tailored to their individual needs and what they’re used to at home. Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and well-being always come first.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet will be cared for in a quiet, calm home with minimal traffic, creating a peaceful environment where they can feel at ease. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets and homes, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I understand how important it is to feel confident when leaving your fur baby in someone else’s care. I will respect your dog’s routine, be attentive to their individual needs, and provide plenty of love and attention. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Pets

A typical day

Sniff therapy throughout my dog-friendly neighborhood, walks at your dog’s pace, fetch, playtime, snuggles, and hide-and-seek for treats are all on the agenda! We may also enjoy some relaxing time sunbathing on the deck. I follow each dog’s individual energy level and routine. Some pups want to play and explore, while others are happiest snoozing nearby. My goal is to give every dog their perfect day!

To help me provide the best possible care, please tell me about your dog’s personality, daily routine, feeding and potty schedule, energy level, favorite activities, fears or anxieties, and any triggers I should avoid. I’d also love to know how they do around other dogs, what helps them settle in, and anything else that will help them feel at ease. Since I have a resident dog, all visiting dogs must be house-trained, current on vaccinations, and on flea and tick preventative.
