Pet care experience

A pet lover ready to work!

I have been taking care of neighbors’ dogs since I was 10. I worked at a student run pet grooming program for 2 years, done in-home pet sitting for 6 years, and have worked at a pet hydrotherapy center for 3 years. I have experience with all dogs, and specifically senior dogs and dogs with special needs.

Safety, trust & environment

In my client’s home I am mindful of baby gates/dog gates and keeping them closed when instructed. I am also mindful of stairs and help the dog up and down if needed. I make sure the dog is as comfortable as possible while their owners are away by keeping to their usual routine as much as possible!

Amy has been spectacular with my Scarlita! She knows how to accommodate my dog’s recent loss of vision with patience and compassion. She is always one of my two “go to” walkers when I need someone I trust to care for my fur ball!

Amy is caring, well mannered and carries herself professionally. Saying Amy is a hard worker is an understatement, as she has been working two jobs and going to school full time. Amy loves dogs, rescued her dog, works at a dog physical therapy company, watches and walks dogs for family and friends all the time.

Amy is the best pet sitter I've ever had. She really goes above and beyond in caring for my elderly dog and cat. She's always my first choice when I need a sitter. She's extremely reliable and great with communication. I feel very comfortable leaving for long periods of time with her at my home watching my animals. I've had a difficult time finding someone reliable and someone good with old special needs dogs and I'm thrilled I finally found someone I can trust with my babies!

Amy has always helped out with my pups for years now. She always goes above and beyond with helping out. Whenever we have an issue with our pups she is the first we reach out to. She loves every dog she cares for and it is shown!

Information that is important to know ahead of time is their typical routine for feeding and going outside. It is helpful to know if I need to avoid other dogs outside or other people.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
