A typical day will always start and end with lots of cuddles, with plenty of adventure in between! For dogs that love to make friends we have a lovely group of doggies just waiting to play with, and for those that enjoy their own space we always prioritise a nice solo adventure with lots to sniff and see.

Hi, I’m Amy. Alongside my partner I have owned and run my own dog walking business Barking Pad for the past 5 years, both in the UK and over in sunny Australia! From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, Staffies to German Shepards, we’ve cared for them all - each one as much an adventure as the next. I am fully insured by Pet Business Insurance, which covers Public Liability, Loss of Keys, Animal Illness and Care Custody of up to 6 dogs per walk. Along with a cleared DBS check, I also have an OFQUAL Level 3 qualification in Canine First Aid and Emergency First Aid training, with having attended the Rachel Bean First Aid course. You’ll receive texts and photos with updates, and can even follow along on our social media pages too!

We have been using Barking Pad for over five years now, and we couldn't recommend them more highly. Amy and Max are genuinely amazing people who love and care for animals as if they were their own. Our dog, Ferg, gets so excited whenever they arrive to pick him up, which says everything about the bond they've built with him over the years. They are extremely knowledgeable about many breeds of dogs and provide a fantastic range of services, including dog walking, home visits, and pet sitting. Whenever we go away, we always choose Barking Pad because Ferg is happiest staying in his own home rather than in kennels or an unfamiliar environment. Amy and Max are completely trustworthy, reliable, and professional. Not only do they take exceptional care of Ferg, but they are also excellent house sitters, giving us total peace of mind while we're away. Knowing that both our dog and our home are in such capable hands allows us to relax and enjoy our time away. We wouldn't use anyone else and wholeheartedly recommend Barking Pad to anyone looking for caring, experienced, and dependable pet care services.
Amy has been part of Bonnie’s life since we got her, I genuinely could not ask for a more loving and caring dog walker. She house sits throughout the year also and Bonnie gets to stay in her own home with someone who loves her like we do. Could not recommend more, we are so lucky to have them and so is Bonnie 😊
Amy has looked after my 5 yr old baby since he was 8 months old, both dog walking and pet sitting while I’m away. She’s reliable, trustworthy but most of all totally dedicated to Jacks welfare. He gets lots of cuddles along with nice days out. Couldn’t manage without her 😊
