Volunteer walker at no-kill shelter
I love dogs and was raised with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. I am a dog walker at a no kill shelter and spend every Sunday afternoon taking care of rescues. I have been doing this for 11 years and love it. I have had experience with all size dogs, from all backgrounds, of all breeds including those that have been abused. My time at the shelter is the best time of the week for me. I have also volunteered to care for friends dogs and worked as a dog walker for neighbors. I am not allowed to have dogs where I live so the time I spend with them is invaluable. I can walk your dog, feed your dog and play with your dog. It will be my pleasure. I have also been a multiple cat owner for more than 20 years. I work part-time so short term jobs with time flexibility are best. I always must meet an animal before agreeing to walk or do home visits. I am a very attentive dog walker and also love caring for cats. I cannot care for animals in my own home but am happy to visit yours.

Amy is great! Petey really likes her and she’s very responsible. There have been times where Petey was only scheduled for a walk but she fed and played with him anyway! She’s offered to negotiate prices, shes very kind.
Amy is the most thorough, trustworthy, and reliable pet sitter I could imagine! I've never used Rover before and have a 7 month old kitten- Amy was incredible this last week for us, even through new years eve and new years day. She was so considerate and came before booking twice to meet peanut, once when we first booked and again a few weeks later before we left for our trip. She took pictures every day and sent it to us, which made my day. In the pictures I can tell my cat loves her and she came out when shes usually afraid of people. I'm so glad we found Amy and I cannot recommend her enough. ❤
