Hi there! I'm Amy and I love getting to spend my free time taking care of furry friends :) I grew up taking care of two family dogs (Samoyed and Corgi) and have been pet sitting for friends and pet parents (mostly through Wag) over the past few years since I missed having dogs around. One of my absolute favorite experiences has been fostering my friend's 2 month old golden retriever puppy for the first few months last summer - he was absolutely precious and I find the training and routine building with puppies really rewarding :) Unfortunately I don't have a pet of my own quite yet but I hope to in the future! I'm grateful to have the flexibility to work remotely part time and live in San Carlos, CA. Outside of pet sitting and work, I love workout classes, ski weekends, and making homemade ice cream with friends! Amy was a wonderful cat-sitter for our week away. She was very quick in her responses and very prompt in watching our cat. She played with her, fed her and cleaned her litter. I would definitely book Amy again anytime!
Amy is amazing with our dog zoe!! She walks her for an hour on the days we’re in the office. She’s reliable, consistent, prompt, communicative, and always leaves our dog so happy and tired! She is great about sending photos and documenting her walks. Our dog absolutely loves her and it’s nice having peace of mind that she’s taken care of while we’re out. We definitely recommend amy and will continue using her if she’s available!

Schedule
I currently work part-time remotely so I have flexibility to move around. When pet sitting, I work from home the entire duration so I can do the best job taking care of them the entire time. I primarily pet sit and house sit in my free time since I love taking care of them and don't yet have a pet of my own!

Safety, trust & environment
I'm open to any and all requests during pet sitting and/or house sitting - I'll do my best to accommodate my services and ensure things are taken care of while you're away! I also like to share video and pictures updates to pet parents to show them how things are going, and my goal is to make it as easy as possible being away from home knowing that your pets and/or space are being looked after with care :)
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks, play fetch in the backyard or at the dog park, and play with any toys provided. I am also open to taking dogs on hikes!
