Pet care experience
I'm an active person with a flexible work-from-home schedule (and my work hours are part-time). Plenty of couch cuddles, walks (runs, too!), and love await any dog that stays with us. My teen boys are here half the time, and we all adore dogs. I've grown up with dogs all my life, and have lots of pet-caring experience for friends and family. Our family dog that we inherited from my father passed away last year and we're not ready for a new full time dog yet, but would love to have some canine company. <3

Amy is amazing! We feel so lucky to have a safe, loving home for our dog, Juniper, when we go out of town. Amy takes very good care and checks in along the way with texts and photos. Juniper is always happy, healthy, and exhausted when we pick her up.
Amy is great with animals! My generally reserved dog warmed up to her almost instantly. He is generally an anxious dog, but he had no problem feeling at home with her. Now I have a hard containing my dogs excitement when we arrive at her house. Amy has been responsible, reliable, trustworthy, and sensitive to the needs of my high maintenance dog. She genuinely loves animals and it shows. I wholeheartedly recommend her if you need a person to look after your four-legged family members!

I have a fenced yard, and offer daily walks or runs as desired while they are with me. I will happily host multiple dogs from a single household, but will not book multiple dogs from different households at the same time without prior consent from all owners. I will defer to owner's preferences on whether to crate a dog while I'm away, though I do not own a crate, so one would need to be provided if this is your preference. I have several dog beds throughout the house, and have always let dogs on the couch as well.

My cat has experience being around dogs, though if your pup is too laser-focused on doing nothing but chasing her, it will probably stress her out. I'm not equipped to care for dogs with incontinence issues, destructive tendencies, or that exhibit aggression towards people or animals.
A typical day
I'm pretty adaptable to dogs' needs. They want to chill on the couch? I got you. They want to go for a run and two walks a day? I got you, too.

I set my own work schedule, and work from home three days per week (more, if needed), so can adjust as needed to be there for any dogs staying with me. I'm a runner, and will happily run with your dog if they want to!
