Let’s go for a walk!

I have grown up with dogs and have been a mama to a rescue pup with a lot of fear, anxiety, and reactivity. I have spent many hours working with dog behaviorists to help my pup learn to be less reactive and happier. I would love to support your pup to be the best they can be too! I like to go on walks, do agility and brain games, and whatever other stimulation your pupster enjoys. I also enjoy working on desensitization to triggers like door knocking or sounds. If your pup is reactive, I would love to learn more about their triggers (if they have any) and how to best make them comfortable. Looking forward to playing together!

Amy was a fantastic host for our German Shepherd, Milly! She was very flexible with pickup and drop off logistics, asked great questions to make sure she was prepared for the exact care that Milly needed, and gave plenty of update texts and pictures each day. 10/10 would definitely book Amy again

Amy is my dog Oscars’ favorite babysitter! He is always so excited to see her. On top of being reliable and an obviously responsible person in general, she has a great ability to be in tune to what my dog is noticing and reacting to on walks. She has a dog herself with some challenges, and has spent a lot of time learning dog’s cues and behaviors. She is great at redirecting and setting dogs up for success. I would highly recommend Amy, I know my “baby” is safe and in good hands with her.

I am writing this letter as a recommendation for Amy Glasco to be employed as a dog sitter with Rover.com. I have known Amy since she was about ten years old. She has always loved dogs and has always been terrific with them. I have seen her around many different dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is very patient and loving with them. She also seems to have a knack for teaching dogs how to behave appropriately in various situations. I believe she would do an excellent job as a dog sitter.

When I heard that Amy was applying to be a dog sitter my immediate thought was that she would be perfect for your company. Amy has been a dog person all of her life. Most recently I have observed her as a new(er) dog owner (a rescue) work harder than anyone I have ever known to do all she could to make a loving home for her dog. She spends (and makes sacrifices) an incredible amount of time with him training him with an attentive, loving, positively reinforcing style. I am very confident that she would take wonderful care of another person’s dog. She also has a great, large fenced in backyard for lots of doggie playtime!

Amy would be a fantastic choice for your dog sitting needs! Amy, and her dog Sevi, have a huge back yard to run and play in, and Sevi is a great play mate. Our Swiss Mountain Dog Oscar loves to run and play with Sevi, and they get along great. Amy's neighborhood is also great for taking walks. I am sure that your pup will enjoy spending time at Amy's, and your pup might also come home with some new tricks!

Hi, my name is Oscar. I am a Swiss Mountain Dog, and Amy is my babysitter. I am excited to write this review because she is the best human I’ve ever had babysit me. She has a “special needs” dog herself, so no request or need surprises her. She has put a lot of effort into being able to read our dog cues and understand what we need. My parents also say that being dependable is very important to her, and it shows. She always treats me like I am her own. She has taught me to be a good boy, so I guess I will share her with all of you.
