Hello :) my name is Amy,I recently moved to Austin from Baltimore! I’ve always had a deep love for animals, caring for animals has always felt natural to me and it truly fills my heart with joy. Growing up we had dogs,fish,birds, and even the squirrels trusted us to come by the house and get a snack from our hands. Today, I live in an area full of wildlife in Austin where I get to feed deer, birds, and other wildlife daily. It’s the highlight of my day! I’m experienced with administering medications, maintaining routines, reactive dogs, reinforcing basic training, and making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet cuddle on the couch, I enjoy getting to know their unique personality and caring for them as if they were my own. I know how important consistency is, so I do my best to stick to your pet’s normal schedule, provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m beginning this journey as a way to help fellow pet parents and their babies, while also healing after a divorce where I sadly lost my beloved corgi Willow in the process. While that chapter has been incredibly hard, it has reminded me just how special the bond between people and their pets truly is. Grieving my soul pup that is still on this earth is not easy, but giving back to pet parents the love and care I would give her would over flow my cup! Until I’m ready to welcome another dog of my own, I’d love the opportunity to share that love and care with your furry family members. Whether you need someone for walks, drop-ins for play time, or someone to stay with your babies while you are gone, I’m happy to be of assistance! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur friends!

Every pet deserves to feel safe and loved even when their people are not around! Whether we’re out on a walk or spending time together in your home, I care for every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to learn their routine, energy level, personality, and any special needs so they feel comfortable and secure. From sniff filled walks,to active adventures, medication administration, feeding, playtime, enrichment, belly rubs, and plenty of affection, my goal is to make every visit full of love. You tell me what your pet needs, and I’m happy to assist! I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents, so you’ll receive regular photo updates and communication while you’re away. I strive to leave your home just as I found it and ensure your furry family member is happy, relaxed, and well cared for until you’re back together. Your trust, your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority! If needed I am also an experienced with plant care and cleaning. Happy to discuss this as well.

I can’t recommend Amy enough! Her genuine love for dogs was apparent during our first meet, and she made meeting with someone new for walks very easy. She is very attentive, responsive, and sent updates during every drop in/walk. I always felt at ease when my pets were with her as they were always so excited to see her. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to truly love and care for their fur baby!
Amy is so sweet and nurturing. She’s always very attentive with Willow. Amy is responsible, patient, and very loving. Any pet would be well taken care of. I witnessed how much time and attention Amy put into making sure Willow had the best life possible. I highly recommend her, and know she will bring the same loving energy to any pet she cares for.

Schedule
I am available for drop in/walks 12pm-8pm. I am happy to stay at your house any day of the week. For overnight stays I will typically be available 9pm-8am. But if you need around the clock supervision, it can be arranged!
