Pet care experience
We love animals in our house!
I grew up in a household with dogs and cats, and as we've added kids to our family, we've fostered and taken care of plenty of extra animals. Our kids are raised as compassionate animals lovers, as this is core to our family values. Before relocating to this area from NYC, my husband and I both volunteered at animal shelters, cleaning cages, socializing pets, and walking dogs. We started our own petsitting business back then as we truly love animals and wanted to help take care of them. In NYC, we could only have a couple of cats, so we welcomed any dogs that we could get to know and bond with. We would clean up after the pets, make sure there is food and water along with any medications the pets may need, including insulin injections. I believe playing with the pets is very essential in establishing a good relationship with any dog or cat, it builds a solid foundation and leaves the animals feeling less lonely. I do a thorough job from start to finish and really enjoy the time I spend with every pet. I have a lot of experience in this field and would love to take care of your pet.

My girls got their meds, were fed, and walked in a rainy time. I was very upset that she ate my food, over 10 very expensive protein shakes, all my chocolate pudding ( i had a value pack so there were 6-8 cups left), a 22 oz bag of potato chips and lord knows what else she ate. I had a sitter cancel me day of my flight so paid over $1k more for this sitter in a pinch so am very angry that she ate my food. I have never had a sitter eat my food before. She said she lived less than 3 mins away so why did she eat my food??? Stolen my food. She is diabetic and i said if her sugar dropped she could have a little snack in an emergency. This wasn’t an emergency. There was a noise from my fridge in the garage. I asked her to unplug it/replug it and she said it was doing much better. I was gone 17 days and did not hear about it again. I gave Amy a bedroom and her own bathroom. I came home and found out that she slept IN MY BED! It was made differently and i had 2 of my wool dryer balls in the bed with me when i slept the first night. NoOne sleeps in my bed!! Ever. I am angry and appalled that someone would disrespect me this way by eating my food and sleeping in my bed. I paid over $2k for this sit and have never had someone do this before. I am reconsidering Rover as the original sitter cancelled the sit at 0800 the day of my flight and the second very expensive sitter eats my food and sleeps in my bed. If she had communicated that the occasional noise from the fridge bothered her I would have told her there was a fold out bed in the living room far from the garage but she did not communicate just did what she wanted. I am very unhappy and feel invaded, my space, my food

Amy was very quick to respond to a last minute call for my wedding weekend. Her family and pets were very friendly and my dog was very happy and tired when she returned. Would recommend.
Second time yo have Amy as my Bella's sitter, Amy and Chris were awesome as usual, plenty of pics and feed back on a daily basis during our trip. Chris picked up and dropped bella on time which was a great time saver for us. Definitely will book again on our next month trip.

Amy n Husband were awesome in responding to a last minute holiday checkin for smokey.

Amy and her family were the best hosts!! This was my first time using Rover so I was a little nervous about leaving my senior lab, but I couldn't have found a better family to take care of her. They loved her like she was their own and even let her sleep in their bed! :) I highly recommend!
Excellent care. Our dog had lots of fun playing with her dogs!
