I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, routine, and personality. In a client’s home, I prioritize keeping pets on their normal schedule to reduce stress, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and comfortable. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a structured but relaxed environment with plenty of supervision, enrichment, and exercise. I’m attentive to behavior, safety, and comfort at all times, and I adjust care depending on age, energy level, and any special needs. With my background in veterinary medicine, I’m also able to monitor for any changes in behavior or health and respond appropriately if concerns arise.

I have over 4 years of experience working in veterinary medicine, including emergency care, which has given me strong knowledge in recognizing medical concerns, handling high stress situations, and safely administering medications. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, including seniors and those requiring daily medications. In addition to my clinical experience, I’ve trained my own working line dog from 8 weeks old to adulthood, giving me hands on experience with puppy training, structure, and behavior management. I also currently have a young puppy, so I understand the patience and consistency needed for early training stages. This diverse background has made me confident handling animals of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. What sets me apart is my ability to combine professional veterinary knowledge with real world training experience, allowing me to provide safe, attentive, and reliable care for every pet.

Amy is the best walker we’ve had to care for our big dogs. She is so kind and patient with them. They’re a rambunctious bunch but she makes it look easy. Cannot recommend her enough. Plus she always sends cute pics on their walks!
