Stay At Home Sitter

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Let us care for your fur baby! We are a family of dog lovers. We enjoy hosting new friends to get our snuggle fix and to keep us from adopting every pupper we fall in love with. We’re absolutely NOT the lowest priced sitter in town but we are of the highest quality. We get very attached to our guests and they are treated like one of the family rather than just another pet in a kennel where they may only get one hour of exercise time a day.

Amy is wonderful. Bem came back to me happy, well-fed, and maybe even bathed? Not that he was stinky, but I think he smells better and less dog-like than when I dropped him off 4 days ago! I missed my pickup time by 5 1/2 hours out of my own carelessness because I had a 4 hour round trip to pick up my children, but Amy and her husband were so generous about my mistake. They were excellent communicators and I am so grateful to have found her on the first time I ever used Rover. I really don't think you can go wrong here.

Doggy Day Care • May 18, 2026

Amy and her husband were absolutely fabulous. My two dogs are wonderful except for the fact that my big dog has climbed fences in the past… one over ten feet tall. So I naturally get very nervous when I leave my dogs anywhere. They have such knowledge of dogs and dog behaviors… they weren’t nervous, had a set up to combat the issue, and were just overall wonderful with both of my dogs. They also were very careful and loving to my old dog with hip dysplasia. The second day I went to drop the girls off, both of them went running right into the house and looked back like they were saying, see you later. If that’s not a sign, I don’t know what is. Wonderful wonderful wonderful experience.

Amy took such great care of Ladybird and Bruce while we were out of town. Our dog Bruce is very shy and anxious and Amy and her husband were patient with him and sent us regular updates. Would book to board again!

Amy was fantastic to work with from booking to pick-up. Regular updates (photos and video), played games/fetch with our high energy pup (Malinois), and was open to any special requests we had (we have a your home, your rules attitude but appreciated the offer). Will absolutely book again if she is available.

Safety, trust & environment

We watch pups from ONE family at a time so any photos you may see of multiple dogs means they came from one household. Our backyard is fully fenced and much larger than average. We have room for endless running and play time. We have a six foot privacy fence on three sides and a 4 ft chain link fence between us and our neighbor. If your pups are known to jump & run over shorter fences we can talk about options. Recently we have added an extra layer of protection for our guests. With your permission, when they arrive we outfit them in a collar with our household information, as well as an Apple AirTag to assist us in tracking them down in the unlikely circumstance that they take themselves on a unsanctioned tour of the neighborhood. Drop in visits, dog walking and house sitting bookings are done by my college age children. They have been house sitting pups for a few years now. The are in college but will not leave the pups alone unless they’re in class. Meet and greets are required for house sitting bookings. Please choose the specific service requested in your AND clarify in your booking message to avoid confusion. Thank you.

Pets

A typical day

Our home backs up to a greenbelt and trail that make extra walks lots of fun for everyone. Our large yard is perfect for running and playing fetch. We also like to sit out back and just hang out in the evenings while the puppers play. A second passion of mine is photography. I try to send daily photographs and videos of your fur baby so you never have to wonder what they’re up to. I can’t help but document how much fun we’re all having. Take a look at our photo gallery to see just a few examples of all the friends we’ve made through Rover.

If your fur baby struggles with separation anxiety, stress induced bladder leakage, needs medication, storm stress, music to sleep, etc, we would like to discuss options with you. Our family is very flexible, and most of these issues aren’t a problem as long as we know to plan for them in advance. The more information you can give us about your pup, the better experience for all involved. We work hard to keep our yard and home safe and free of pests for our fur babies as well as yours. If your pets arrives with a notable issue we reserve the right to cancel the stay without notice. Proof of up to date rabies and bordetella/kennel cough will be required prior to booking.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass an identity verification. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
