We enjoy hosting new friends to get our snuggle fix and to keep us from adopting every pupper we fall in love with. We’re absolutely NOT the lowest priced sitter in town but we are of the highest quality. We get very attached to our guests and they are treated like one of the family rather than just another pet in a kennel where they may only get one hour of exercise time a day.

We are so thankful that we found Amy on Rover as we wouldn't have been able to do a long planned Alaska visit had we not. With a new puppy, we were hesitant to leave her but Mavis has found a econd home there. It is obvious that the whole family loves dogs and treats them as members of the family so Mavis took full advantage of that and settled in nicely. She's a very active, curious 5 month old who requires alot of attention as she needs to keep phsycially and mentally engaged. The videos and photos that Amy sent showed us that she kept herself and them busy so we could enjoy our time away knowing we'd come home to a happy puppy. I screened all the Rover profiles carefully before making our selection and for anyone else looking to use Rover, we give Amy the highest recoommendation and know you'l be very satisfied leaving your "best friend" with her.
Omg what an awesome family to care for my baby while we were gone! I couldn't be more pleased with Ammie. She communicated with me the whole week and sent pics. I could tell my baby felt loved and was happy. I will definitely use services with Amy for any future trips. I feel so blessed knowing that now I can actually plan trips worry free and knowing my baby will be treated like family!!
We have an energetic, high maintenance 4 month old puppy Mavis and this stay was the first time we've left her. We couldn't be happier that we found Amy on Rover as she's exactly the type of sitter that we were hoping to have care for her this time and going forward. Amy is exceptional with communication and the photos and videos of Mavis interacting with their dogs were most appreciated and brought us smiles. Amy and her family are the quintessential dog lovers which was apparent when we did the Meet & Greet and met their loved pets. It felt like Mavis was welcomed into their pack immediately and she was so excited to get to play in their big back yard with the "big guys." We were like nervous new parents leaving their baby for the first time and all went well. Amy is now our designated sitter and we highly recommend her to others.

Schedule
We have been very lucky that our work allows either myself or my husband to be home every day of the week. This allows us the flexibility to provide constant companionship to your pet while you're at the office or traveling.

Safety, trust & environment
We watch pups from ONE family at a time so any photos you may see of multiple dogs means they came from one household. Our backyard is fully fenced and much larger than average. We have room for endless running and play time. We have a six foot privacy fence on three sides and a 4 ft chain link fence between us and our neighbor. If your pups are known to jump & run over shorter fences we can talk about options. Recently we have added an extra layer of protection for our guests. With your permission, when they arrive we outfit them in a collar with our household information, as well as an Apple AirTag to assist us in tracking them down in the unlikely circumstance that they take themselves on a unsanctioned tour of the neighborhood. Drop in visits, dog walking and house sitting bookings are done by my college age children. They have been house sitting pups for a few years now. The are in college but will not leave the pups alone unless they’re in class. Meet and greets are required for house sitting bookings. A typical day
Our home backs up to a greenbelt and trail that make extra walks lots of fun for everyone. Our large yard is perfect for running and playing fetch. We also like to sit out back and just hang out in the evenings while the puppers play. A second passion of mine is photography. I try to send daily photographs and videos of your fur baby so you never have to wonder what they’re up to. I can’t help but document how much fun we’re all having.
