Availability
Working from home, I will be available most days and times. Your pup can expect a lot of face time if they want that or a quiet space to take an afternoon nap. I have flexible time and can also set up a schedule for longer durations.

Safety, trust & environment
In addition to our barnyard and pastures, we have a large fenced dog-yard behind the house surrounded by trees and grass. I can provide a crate if one is needed for small or medium-sized dogs. We have two mature cats that also live with us, one outside and one in the house. Unless you want to include chickens, my husband and I are the only two-leggers. Our upper and lower levels can be separated if any disputes over space seem likely. There are private trails on the property for walking in the fresh air.

Information Amy D. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences, but pets must be able to be inside without destructive behavior, i.e. house-trained. We would like to know what kind of animals and people your pet has experience with as we have many pets and livestock that make their home here too. Does the pet have any quirks, dislikes, or special needs?
A typical day
We can spend time doing the activities your pet enjoys. Catching a ball, getting brushed, walking in the woods, or chasing laser lights are all possibilities. The backyard has fencing and free time outdoors with supervision is encouraged when the weather permits. (Walks are only available for dogs that do not pull at the leash.)

Pet care experience
I've been 'animalish' since I could walk. With that comes a life long desire to interact with and appreciate the special animals that cross my path. I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years, including 10 years in veterinary settings. I have cared for many pets, from horses to goldfish at my own home as well. I feel comfortable caring for aged pets or pets with special medical needs. If you have a rabbit, guinea pig, or another furry friend who is not a cat or dog, please ask about daycare for them as well. Reviews

We love Amy and our dogs do too! A very kind and caring person who really makes us feel secure and confident they have the best care.

Amy is an excellent "dog sitter" & is always very attentive to our Filson, who is a Wire Fox Terrier & expects a lot of "attention" :) He loves going to their home! We highly recommend Amy & her environment....which is peaceful & calming.
Amy was so welcoming of our puppy, and provided a safe and fun environment. We highly recommend her.

Mimi loves staying with Amy - easy going household, complete with plenty of space and treats!
