Information Amy D. would like to know about your pet
It's helpful to know if the dog has any medication they need to take, what kind of diet they are on, any training that needs to be followed, and if they have any unusual behaviours and/or instructions. Sitting Info: It'd also be good to know if there are any bin days during my stay and if any plants need watering while you're away, so you can have peace of mind about your house running smoothly even when you're on your holiday.
A typical day
In a typical day, I'd feed the dogs first thing, then take them for a medium walk around the park later in the morning where they can run around and explore, then a longer walk (depending on each dogs needs and routine) around Barry Sidings in the afternoon, with plenty of fuss and time in the garden (weather permitting) in between. Then dinner and an evening of relaxing time on the sofa (also given your pets usual rules re: furniture) and lastly bed, whether that's in their crate or bed or elsewhere.

Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Amy, my family have had cats for as long as I remember but I am secretly a dog person too! Big or small, I love to look after animals; While living in Sydney I was a member of MadPaws and would regularly house-sit, pet-sit and take dogs for walks around the city and parks. Since returning home to Wales and joining Rover in the summer of 2021, over half of my clients have come back for regular bookings and so far I have completed over 300 bookings with cats, dogs, fish and rabbits! - I am currently WFH 3 days a week so am able to balance my full-time job with Rover bookings, and will go above and beyond to care for your pets and make sure they are the happiest and healthiest they can be. My garden is fully fenced and secure, and I live really close to Barry Sidings where there's plenty of green space for walks, and more private tracks for pets that are dog sensitive. I'm also not far from Ynysangharad Park for more walks and meet & greets. - Although I'm sure there will be no hiccups during your pet's stay, I am fully insured through Protectivity Insurance for peace of mind (on top of the Rover Guarantee), as well as being licensed under the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963, by the Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (license to be reinstated once I re-open boarding at my home). - Feel free to drop me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. - (PLEASE NOTE: Due to having recently adopted our lovely kitten, I will be offering my boarding service from my partner's house in Cardiff while little Ladybird gets settled into our home, but am more than happy to pick up and drop off from the Pontypridd area. I am also only able to provide 3-day visits at a time due to the new CS hybrid working policy, but please drop me a message if you require a longer booking and I can review on an adhoc basis). - I can work wherever there is reliable private WiFi, which allows me to plan well in advance, have a reliable schedule that can fit in easily with your plans, and of course I'm around 24/7 to take care and give fusses to your dog during their/my stay. - I am happy to provide regular updates with photos of your furry friend(s) for your peace of mind, and only look after dogs & cats from one family at a time.
Reviews

Amy was fantastic as always, kept in good communication with us throughout and sent pictures regularly. Ralph loved the company!

Amy looked after our cocker spaniel Spike for us when we went away this weekend. I CANNOT recommend her enough! We had wonderful updates, gorgeous photos, and he had wonderful walks, play times, and cuddles. Amy was quick to respond when we messaged asking how he was and was reassuring the entire time as it was the first time we had left him. I wasn’t sure he’d want us back! Thank you again Amy (and Sam) for giving Spike his own wonderful holiday. We will definitely be booking with Amy forever! Xx

Cats well looked after by an amazing sitter.

Amy is fantastic! She came to meet Geordie the day before first walking him and was excellent dealing with his anxious energy and he had a great time with her :)
