Calm, Loving WFH Dog Care
Hi! I’m Amy. I’ve had dogs my whole life and I take care seriously. I work from home, communicate clearly, and run a calm, organized household—skills I’ve honed in management roles. Your dog will get attentive care, predictable routines, and plenty of photo updates so you always know how they’re doing. I’m comfortable with young dogs through seniors, basic training reinforcement (sit, wait, leash manners), and following detailed instructions. If I don’t know something, I ask—because safety and clarity beat guesswork every time. Walks are only offered to dogs who can be handled safely on leash. Dogs who pull aggressively will have plenty of outdoor time in the fenced yard. Please note your dog must be able to settle and respect other dogs’ space; persistent pestering/jumping or aggression may require separation or early pickup.

Ratings and reviews
Very pleased with the care of my 2 Shih Tzus. A fenced in yard let them run around which is their favorite thing to do. Amy will take good care of your dogs.

Amy is the best! I was so worried about leaving my baby, but from the very first photo and update, I knew he was in the best hands and I was able to enjoy my vacation. Thank you Amy!💞

Amy was a wonderful dog sitter! My dogs felt right at home and loved playing in her big backyard. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were happy and well cared for. I’d definitely trust her with my pups again!
Amy was fantastic! Ashby was a happy pup when I picked him up. Will definitely take him to Amy again!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so dogs are part of my day—not an afterthought. I keep a calm, predictable rhythm with plenty of supervision and breaks. I share my home with two small cockapoos who are friendly, calm, and playful. They’re used to polite dog manners and make great companions for social pups. I keep numbers low so everyone gets attention and space. Morning (7–9am): Potty break, breakfast Late Morning: Quiet time while I handle focused work; pups nap nearby with soft music/white noise. Midday: Potty break or a neighborhood walk, depending on weather and energy. Afternoon: Another supervised rest block for me to work Late Afternoon: potty break or walk and decompression time. Evening (for boarding): Dinner, cuddles, last potty, lights-down routine. Weekly cadence: I host a small number of compatible dogs so everyone gets attention. I plan errands around pet care.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s wellbeing comes first. I’m new to professional pet care, but I run an organized, low-stress home and I’m thoughtful about safety. Large, fully fenced yard: Secure fencing with self-closing gates; I supervise outdoor time, keep fresh water out, and provide shade/sunny options. Calm, clean spaces: Non-smoking home, dog-safe setup with gates as needed. I have a quiet area for decompression and space for a crate if your pup uses one. Predictable routine: Potty breaks, walks, play, and naps on a steady schedule to reduce stress and support good manners. Weather-smart care: Walk lengths adjusted for heat/cold; paw checks and towel-offs on wet days; indoor enrichment when needed. Hygiene & tidiness: Food/water areas wiped daily; accidents cleaned promptly with pet-safe enzymatic cleaners. No dog parks / no off-leash: I use secure gear and on-leash walks only, unless you’ve approved a fully fenced area. Thoughtful mixing: I keep numbers low and only host compatible dogs, with slow, sniff-based introductions and separate feeding. Health requirements: Current vaccines (Rabies, DHPP; Bordetella recommended) and flea/tick prevention. Please share vet info and any meds/sensitivities. Clear communication: You’ll receive photo updates and honest notes; if anything seems off, I contact you right away. Meet & Greet: Required before booking to review routines, triggers, and gear fit, and to align on update cadence.
