Pet care experience
Sitter with veterinary experience!
I've always had dogs and cats- I currently have five kitties - and love them so much that a good part of my career has been devoted to them. I have worked at 4 animal shelters and vet hospitals over the years. I grew up on a ranch where we always had animals, and I can read them well enough that they're basically cute, fuzzy people to me. With my variety of experience working and volunteering at various vet clinics and shelters, I have gotten to know pets of all sorts of personalities and temperaments. I have considerable experience with medicating, noticing signs of illness and discomfort, administering subcutaneous fluids, giving injections, testing blood sugar, treating wounds, grooming, and of course, lots of cuddling and playtime! I currently work at Hill Country Humane Society's cattery, where I'm in training to be the cat lead.

Amy was great! Winnie and her had a blast! We will be using her again😊

Thank you Amy! We have used her several times now and highly recommend using her.

Amy is amazing! She communicates small details to ensure we know our fur baby is taken care of. We had to extend our trip a day due to bad weather and she was more than willing to help us!

Schedule
I currently work part-time at a local animal shelter and am happy to work my petsitting around that schedule. I have five of my own cats, one of which requires heavy monitoring for illnesses because of her immunocompromised status, so I have a lot of personal experience with monitoring for signs of distress or sickness.
