I grew up in an animal loving house where our pets are family members. In 2019 I lost my 14 year old American Foxhound, Bruschi. My life then had a gap in it, so I spent extra time helping pet owners with dog walks and boarding. I had a great experience with my Rover dog walker, Alyssa, and wanted to be able to help others out like she helped me. I worked for Best Friends Boarding facility during college, and for the MSPCA at Nevins Farm & MSPCA's Angel Memorial CCU in Boston. My background is in biology and I enjoy spending my free time outside in nature. I have a deep love for animals and enjoy giving them a lot of attention. I have experience administering oral, subcutaneous and IV meds. I have a sweet pup named Kate who is great with animals and people. BEST experience ever! Amy is an amazing dog sitter. She watched our very active and social golden retriever for 5 full days. Amy provided a great routine for our dog, Daisy. Daisy had plenty of play time with Amy's dog, Kate, and they quickly bonded. Daisy also had the quiet and cozy moments she needed when she was ready to nap. Every day included a fun adventure to the beach or woods for exercise and play. Potty breaks happen every few hours around Amy's pretty townhouse complex that has lots of outdoor space. Amy updated me throughout the day on how Daisy was doing, and sent lots of pictures and videos. Amy is a dog lover and treated Daisy like her own pet. On a rainy and cold day, she met me at her front door, ready to take Daisy for a walk, and later she took her to the beach for an extended play time, despite the bad weather. Daisy had the time of her life at the beach, running, chasing Amy's dog, and exploring. I am someone who is very particular about where I leave my dog, and I trust Amy completely. I've had 4 other Rover sitters before Amy and none of them come close to the level of care and attention that Amy provided. Daisy jumps out of the car to head into Amy's house-she loves it!
Amy is the best! She’s friendly and enthusiastic, always on time, and she provides real time updates on her walks with Emmett. He’s loves his Amy days!
We love Amy! She is a true dog person and treats our pups like her own. We are very selective with who we leave our dogs with (given we have 2 bully breeds) and we absolutely trust her. Our dogs love her and get excited if we mention her name. When our dogs are with Amy we can be assured that they are being taken care of and don't have to worry.
I recommend Amy to anyone looking for a loving dog caregiver. She is very kind and loving with dogs, and she likes to include them in all aspects of her life. She is a trustworthy woman. I have great memories of walking our pups on the beach.

Schedule
I work remotely and take my dog for 3 walks a day, so pets in my care are always exercised and given plenty of attention.

- No breed preferences. Prior to booking I'd like to know how the dog interacts with other dogs, and people. I would like to know what activities the dog enjoys so we get the most out of the experience. It is important we schedule a Meet and Greet prior to booking, so the dog is familiar with me before the booking.
