I’ve grown up with dogs all my life since I was 5 years old. In the past I’ve also had my own dogs but now, living alone, I choose to dog sit as I work full time as a teacher. Confident with bigger dogs especially. Happy to take puppies who are toilet trained too!

Ratings and reviews
Our dog seems to have had a great time staying with Amy. This is our dogs second stay with Amy and we received regular pictures, videos and updates. We would have no hesitation recommending Amy to anyone looking for someone to look after their dog.
Amy is absolutely fantastic! She recently looked after our two dogs, Monty and Gus, and we couldn't be happier with the care they received. It is clear that Amy is very trustworthy; we felt completely at ease leaving our boys in her hands. Her communication is excellent, keeping us updated throughout, and she proved to be someone who can be truly relied upon. If you are looking for a sitter who will treat your pets as if they were her own, then we can highly recommend Amy!

Amy was wonderful with Mac and he settled with her no problem .Would definitely recommend her .
Coco stayed with Amy for just over a week and couldn’t have had a better time. She sent lots of updates and pictures which was lovely and Coco certainly felt at home. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Fabulous sitter, very caring, looked after our little dog Molly extremely well for 2 weeks. Kept us informed daily with messages and WhatsApp pictures which was really appreciated. Even when Molly took unwell, Amy promptly took her to our own vet. Molly had a great time, home from home. Would highly recommend Amy.
Amy was great with our staffie, kept us updated throughout the few days with some pictures. Our dog looked happy and relaxed with her. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I’m Amy, I’m 31 and I’m a secondary school teacher. This is why I only take dogs on weekends or school holidays. I would not take a dog during a normal working week unless it was an emergency.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I treat your pets just like a member of the family. I allow dogs on my sofa and on my bed. I believe dogs should have free roam of the house.
A typical day
I usually take the dogs out 3 times a day for a 20-30 minute walk, depending on the size and breed. When meeting friends in the city centre, sometimes I take dogs with me for brunch. We would get the train to town and your dog would be on a lead the full time. Because I don’t drive, I don’t tend to take the dogs to the beach unless it’s a sunny day and I’m happy to get the train down to Irvine or Troon Beach. It’s about 30 mins from Johnstone.
