I grew up learning how to care for dogs, horses, cats and small furries from a young age. I then went on to care for my family and friends’ animals as I got older - I loved having the responsibility and companionship. Experiencing the relationships develop with the animals I looked after was really special. My auntie also had a pet sitting business and I would love to spend weekends with her taking care of pets.

Information Amy-Beth M. would like to know about your pet
I like to organise a meet and greet (remotely or in person) ahead of any pet care to get to know your pet and their routines as well as possible. This gives everyone peace of mind and ensures pets are as happy and settled as possible 😊
A typical day
Mental and physical stimulation are number one! I really love walking and playing with the animals I take care of and I have a variety of stimulating toys, games and treats (all dietary requirements catered for of course) for pets to enjoy. I also take care of many animals with complex needs, anxieties and reactivity issues. I am used to accommodating care styles to fit these needs so they're kept as comfortable as possible. I also have experience with people reactivity in cats and dogs.

Pet care experience
Hey there, I’m Amy and I live in Brindleypace (B16) As well as petting sitting and dog walking, my working background is in creative industries, events management and student support in higher education. I have a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends for walks, sitting or check ins. I grew up learning how to care for dogs, horses, cats and small furries from a young age. I then went on to care for my family and friends’ animals as I got older. I loved having not only the responsibility but also the companionship. Experiencing the relationships develop with the animals was really wonderful. My auntie also had a pet sitting business and I would love to spend weekends with her taking care of pets. My pet sitting and dog walking business is named for my first family dog Rebel, a staffie/mastiff cross, who we rescued in October 2017 from RSPCA in West Midlands. It sounds cheesy I know, but he really taught me how to love unconditionally. Since then, my sister has adopted two more dogs from Serbia and Romania who needed a lot of love, patience and socialising. I have helped care for them and their complex needs as they had previously lived in on the streets scavenging for food and receiving poor treatment from humans. I'm pleased to say they're doing very well now! I have a Russian tortoise at home named Waldo and he’s four years old now! He was only a few centimetres when he came home and now he’s the size of a side plate. His favourite foods are Cavolo Nero (posh) kale, dandelions, pak choi and strawberries. Your baby/ies will be in very safe hands x

I won't take my dog to anyone else but Amy, she always takes such great care of him. Whether it be taking him for walks or day care, I have peace at mind knowing he's always so well looked after and catered for.
I cannot recommend Amy enough. She is the most caring, trustworthy, genuine human who will no doubt give your pets the time of their life! Your fur babies will be in very safe hands.
Amy is very kind and caring and would be a perfect fit for dog sitting/walking. She has a huge love for animals and is very responsible, with a very calming nature. I would 100% feel comfortable with Amy caring for my dog.
Amy is one of the most knowledgeable and loving pet owners I know! having adopted her lovely dog as a rescue, I couldn’t think of anyone better to care for my pet. Even my little nervous cat loves her ☺️
