Are you planning a trip but worried about leaving your furry friend behind? Look no further! My In-Home Pet Boarding service offers a comfortable and loving environment for your pets while you're away. Say goodbye to crowded kennels and impersonal care – I provide a home away from home! Your furry best friend will be kept company by my two senior pups and two older children. Due to the individualized care provided, dates do fill up quickly. Booking early is strongly encouraged. 🏡 What Sets Me Apart: ✅ Personalized Attention: Your pet will be treated like a member of our family, receiving individualized care, walks, cuddles, and playtime. I only accept one dog at a time, or two from the same family, to ensure your pet’s safety. ✅ Safe & Comfortable Environment: Your pet will enjoy the comforts of a real home – cozy beds, familiar toys, and a secure setting to put them at ease. Daily walks are provided, based on your pet’s needs. I work from home and can provide several potty breaks a day in my large, securely fenced yard. Dogs are separated when unattended, and all animals are separated during feeding times. ✅ Experienced Caretakers: I am a passionate pet lover with over 40 years of experience in handling a variety of animals. As a former professionally trained pet groomer, I have been trained in first aid, animal care, and reading body language. Rest assured, your pet is in capable hands. ✅ Easy Process: My streamlined process is designed to make the boarding experience as easy for you as it is for your pet ✅ Regular Updates: I understand your concern for your pet's well-being, especially when they are in a new place. You'll receive daily updates and photos to stay connected while you're away. ✅ Flexible Services: Whether you're gone for a weekend or an extended vacation, I offer flexible boarding options to suit your needs. Pick-up and drop-off services are also available. ✅ Specialized Care: I have experience dispensing oral medication, and can provide your pet with their needed medications. Special diets or other necessary accommodations can also be provided. ✅ Clean & Hygienic: My in-home facilities are kept clean and hygienic to ensure your pet's health and comfort. Boarders have their own space in my home, where they can relax in their own bed and have all their favorite things. Requirements: ❤️Pets must be housebroken. Accidents happen, but your pet must be trained to potty outside. ❤️Pets must be up to date on all vaccinations and flea prevention. ❤️Pets must not have a history of aggression. I am not a trainer, and not able to handle a dog with a history of aggressive reactive behavior. Restrictions: Dogs under 1 year old, unaltered dogs, dogs not current on vaccinations or flea treatments, or dogs over 30 pounds cannot be accommodated at this time.

I felt so comfortable leaving my Jo with Amy and her two sweet pups for an overnight stay. I can tell she had fun and really enjoyed having some dogs to play with on a rainy day.

This is the 2nd time Amy has watched our fur baby and she is always so pleasant and flexible. Maple always seems happy and healthy. Amy send updates and photos that make me feel better about leaving Maple behind. Would definitely use Amy again for dog sitting!

Schedule
I work from home, and take my two small dogs on two daily walks. Play sessions occur nightly, and occasionally they tag along when we are away from home for more than a few hours. We welcome additional pets to join us!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, and always monitor any animals in my care, including my two small, friendly dogs, while they are using it. All meal times are monitored, and pets are fed in separate rooms to ensure everyone's safety. While your pet stays with us, I will have their bed/crate/food bowls set up in my home office, so they can have their own space while they are adjusting to our home. They will always have access to the main living area, where there are several dog beds, toys, and water. Our home does have stairs, which can be restricted if your pet has trouble navigating them.

A typical day
My dogs stay their day with with breakfast and a potty break in the yard. We take a stroll around the neighborhood mid-morning, then back home for a bit of down time. Late afternoon is when we take our second walk. We have plenty of nearby trails to explore, and several neighborhoods to check out. Play sessions happen in the evening, and both the kids enjoy getting involved with this fun activity.
