I provide attentive, reliable care for pets both in my home and in my clients’ homes, depending on what works best for each family. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—there has never been a time when I didn’t have cats or dogs to care for. Even during my time in the Peace Corps, I adopted and cared for several cats. Working with animals is something I genuinely love, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I understand how important consistency is, so I stick to feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions you provide. Whether it’s exercise, playtime, or simply companionship, I make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. If care takes place in my home, I offer a safe and welcoming environment. I have a fenced-in backyard for plenty of outdoor time, as well as a very friendly retriever who loves having company. I’m mindful about introductions and make sure all pets feel comfortable and secure. This past year, I also completed a puppy training course with my own dog, which strengthened my ability to reinforce good behavior, follow training routines, and work patiently with dogs of different temperaments and energy levels.
