I currently work part-time in the middle of the day, so I am able to check on pets every 5-6 hours as opposed to someone who works full-time/8 hours a day.

Unfortunately I can’t care for pets in my home because of my landlord’s dog and limited space. I leave your home as clean if not cleaner than when I arrived! When my stay is over, I am happy to accommodate whatever helps you feel safest - I can leave the key and lock myself out, or I can return the key at another time. We can talk about any concerns you may have during our Meet And Greet.

Because I love to pet and snuggle with the pets, I would need to know if there's any areas he or she doesn't like touched, and whether or not they like to be picked up.
A typical day
I like to stick to local walks that dogs are familiar with, and I usually cross the street to avoid other people and dogs. I act conservatively since I don’t know dogs like their owners do, and don’t want there to be any complications.

Pet care experience
I notice a cute puppy before a baby, and am not shy about asking strangers if I can pet their dogs. I had a dog growing up and was very active in taking care of her, so I miss that companionship, but I am too busy to have my own dog at this time. I would love to help out anyone new to the area, needing a person they can trust to help them with caring for their pet(s). Fun fact: I am a certified massage therapist, so puppies love getting pet by me!

I have used Amy about 5 times for house sitting with my dog. She is always on time, always provides pictures and updates and my dog always happy to spend time with her and is a happy pup when I come home. I would highly recommend Amy for your dog care needs.
Amy clearly has a way with pets; Our pets warmed to her immediately. She is also adept at watching pets because she knew all the questions to ask and what information she needed for while we were away so we had seamless transitions between us and a worry-free vacation. Amy also went above and beyond in caring for the pets and sending us updates and pictures. I'm not sure they missed us at all!
Great communication, right on time, lots of pictures. Came home to some happy pups ☺️
