Loving your Fur-kid Like my own
Rover update! My husband Kevin and I had A & K Pet services for 5 years pre-pandemic and then during the pandemic we both began different jobs, which led me to sadly hang up pet care entirely. I am back on Rover part time now which I am very excited about! Now that we are no longer a full time duo for pet care, I am available on Wednesdays from 10am - 2pm. A little about me- My love for animals goes all the way back to when I was 5 years old we had a Doxyn & a Doberman, then later came a Bassett Hound, a Bluetick coon hound and a Walker. Now in my adulting years ;) I have 20 years of experience with pet care which began when I was 24 years old. I also have a Boston Terrier of my own now who is just the absolute light of my life! I have a degree in Health Sciences and I am a Certified Yoga Instructor. I feel these skill sets are important to mention as they enhance what I can offer you and your Pets in a compassionate and supportive manner. My main goal is to be 100 percent attentive and sensitive to your pet(s) needs and make you feel comfortable and confident with me caring for them on walks/drop-ins, while you are away. Amy and her husband Kevin were fantastic! We went away for a week and had them take our 10 month old puppy for daily hour walks to ease the stress on our petsitter and we couldn't have felt better about it. It was great to see what time she was picked up and brought home, we always got at least two pictures, even a couple of our cat who came out to say hi one day! They were super flexible with times, checked with us to see if something our pup was doing was normal for her, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend them and would book them again in the future!
Amy was an excellent dog walker. Dory, our 2 yr old Golden was extremely comfortable with her. Amy took the extra steps to report Dory's activities so I would know she was well taken care of during the visit. We would definitely ask for Amy again.
My dog Rainy loved her walk with Amy! She was also super helpful in showing me ways to effectively put on her harness by sending pictures to me. I am very happy with Amy!
We absolutely love having Amy take our dog, Piper, for walks. She is so attentive to what their particular needs are that day. We get a photo when she’s with Piper, and Piper always looks so happy and relaxed in the picture. Amy goes above and beyond with making sure Piper is comfortable on her walks, on a really cold day she even put on some Musher’s secret paw rub. Highly recommend Amy if you are looking for a dog walker!
We were so pleased with Amy’s care of our dog while we were gone. She was very quick to respond to inquiries, met with us prior to our time away and was very attentive to our dog on her visits. We will definitely request her in the future.
Amy answered the original request promptly and we arranged a meet and greet for a few days later. Overall Amy is very nice and truly cares for the well being of dogs. Unfortunately one of my dogs acted up on only the second visit and Amy could not continue with future bookings. I would highly recommend Amy and wish we could have made our situation work

Schedule
Available days are Tuesday and Thursday from 10-2. I do this for my full time job and this is all of the availability I have right now but that could change. Let's meet, chat and see if its a good fit!

Pets
A typical day
We take your dog to local parks, rail trails, etc. upon request to provide fun and safe areas. If it is better for us to stay on your property with them then that is what we will do. All of our walks/visits will be giving the animal the time and attention they need. Exercise, feeding, petting, snuggles. Everything will be discussed at the meet and greet to ensure your confidence in us with your pets.
