I am currently working part time so have a lot of flexibility to tend to the needs of your beloved cats and dogs. Depending on my work schedule, I would visit morning or afternoon.

A typical day
If you have cats, I'll play with them with their favorite toys. My cats love a good laser pointer, a little fetch with felt balls and a dangler wand. Tell me what your cats love, maybe a good box or packaging paper and I'll make sure they are entertained. Same with dogs. I know fetch is a good game for many and I'm an experienced "drop the ball/stick/toy" gal :)

I was a pet sitter when I lived in Portland, Maine, where I had regular clients, including a family with show dogs. This family had dogs, goats and cats and I watched them regularly, staying at their house. I grew up with family dogs. I now have cats and love them so much.

Amy Barnes is the most responsible and loving pet caregiver I know! She loves all animals, and has so much patience and calm around animals. She has taken care of our two cats, and when she comes to visit (not to take care of them), they go up to her and rub against her legs--a sure sign that they really like her! They then sit by her when she finally gets to sit in a chair! She would be a perfect Rover caregiver.
Amy has been an outstanding care taker for both people and animals. I have observed her over many years provide loving and conscientious care to others. She has had pets that have needed extra care due to medical conditions and she always puts them first. Her instincts with cats is especially noteworthy as she’s always had more than one and provides the best home for cats that were rescued from shelter situations. I know that Amy would provide excellent care for other’s pets and I would definitely trust her to care for my pet.
Amy was absolutely wonderful with my Airedale, Tucker! Tucker was young and had a ton of energy, but Amy handled his hyper personality perfectly. She took him on great walks to burn off that energy and kept me updated the entire time and sent an awesome photo. It gave me total peace of mind knowing he was in such caring, capable hands. Amy also has her own two cats that she showers with attention and shares her adorable photos of them. You can tell they are well taken care of from the way they give that attention back to her. I highly recommend Amy as a loving caretaker for your pet and would use her again!
